Yes there are problems but what does your criticism achieve. The same criticism was once levvied at O'Neill, and he never ever forgot! Grow up, and support something for once in your life you miserable ****ING ****! 79186 SilverFox, Consider yourself very lucky that out of respect for the moderators I am not offering you the opportunity to deliver that insult in person. Believe me son, it would be your own ambulance that you'd be chasing. Take care, Chandler

Jonbluefox9 Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Why not wait and see what Levein's done after a pre-season with his squad Chandler? Btw, at the start of the season Micky Adams said 'don't talk to me about top 6, talk to me about top 2'. Then he said 'judge me after ten games'. I'm pretty sure that after ten games we weren't even in the top 6 so Adams sort of dug his own grave with some of his statements. If you have something against Levein I'm sure he'd have a chat with you sometime and answer any of your queries or take your criticisms. He's not one to hide away when the going gets tough.

Difference is Silverfox might well be right!
Fox in a Box Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Me neither, thats why it was a paragraph and a bit of pure verbal abuse rather than the missing chapter to War and Peace. He's a **** but no one will ban him (despite the manner in which he verbally abuses everyone...yes I'm aware of the irony), perhaps because hes valued for his village idiot appeal. Sometimes this forum is a circus, by which I mean freakshow acts like Chandler are allowed to perform on a daily basis! 79232 "Sometimes this forum is a circus" well said silver fox!!!!! god thats made me giggle to day Chandler looks like the village idiot by the looks of it! And Chandler, little boy has your voice broken? Im villing to meet you on the pitch in front of 32,000 for a bare fisted knuckle fight. P.S. I'm 15 stone 6ft you starting?
MADLEVEIN Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 And Chandler, little boy has your voice broken? Im villing to meet you on the pitch in front of 32,000 for a bare fisted knuckle fight. That might increase the attendance
Ash Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 And Chandler, little boy has your voice broken? Im villing to meet you on the pitch in front of 32,000 for a bare fisted knuckle fight. This made me laugh.
Guest Daniel Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 I love it when Chandler starts, he makes me laugh with his pathetic views. Funniest thread I have read for a while.
Who ate all the pies? Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Chandler I think threatening people (especially fellow city fans) is sad and pathetic. So stop it or else!
shen Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Chandler is funny! I don't think his views make him look like an idiot. Not at all! I'm sure quite a few feel the same way he does. It makes him look stupid though, when he keeps posting his Levein rants for the x-th time in a serious and bitter tone and most of us (bar FNQ ) just laugh at him...

Steven Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 This article has echos today as many a person starts to slag off CL. See MON's comment about the side at the end.
SilverFox Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Its intereseting seeing that again! I've been reading O'Neil's autobiography, which is very interesting. At the end of the season when we got promoted he went into his filing cabinet and pulled out a pile of angry letters he had kept, from fans calling for his head. He then proceeded to find and call everyone who had written to him to tell them what he thought! When I read that his legend status went up in my estimations, but sadly also he never ever forgot the feeling of betrayal after such little time to make a difference! He also said that there were only two clubs he would have considered leaving Leicester for...One was Celtic, the other was Man U!
Simon Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 He also said that there were only two clubs he would have considered leaving Leicester for...One was Celtic, the other was Man U! 79554 I think we all knew that... He'll be the next manager at Man U methinks...

Chandler Posted 17 March 2005 Author Posted 17 March 2005 This article has echos today as many a person starts to slag off CL. See MON's comment about the side at the end. 79547 The comparison between MON and Levein is spurious. MON got us promoted in the same season that he arrived. There is no way that Levein is going to do that. MON admitted that the disturbances (particularly after the Blades game) did make a difference. He really laid into the players. We have had no disturbances under Levein and he lets the players get away with lacklustre performances time and time again. What I am beginning to realise is that only a few people on this board go to games home and away. You are unrepresentative of City fans. Most of them are utterly disillusioned with Levein and regret the fact that Adams was hounded out. They feel they cannot put Levein under pressure (because of what happened with Adams) and that he is abusing their deference. Only a handful of clubs can claim to have played ALL their league football for over a century in the top two divisions. If Levein takes us out of the top two, he will become infamous as the only manager in our history to have done this. I really wouldn't like to be in his shoes if this happens. Or yours...

I really wouldn't like to be in his shoes if this happens.Or yours... you will be in our shoes unless you derive some sort of satisfaction in seeing Levine and Leicester fail! If this is the case and you won't feel gutted because you were "right", it won't be the fans who don't get to see every game who aren't real fans...it'll be you!

MADLEVEIN Posted 17 March 2005 Posted 17 March 2005 chandler give it a rest, let time do the talking i didnt recall anyone shouting for leveins head after the forest game or blackburn game which in my eyes suggests that most of the fans can see the improvements in some areas of the team, you cannot argue with the facts that 1; we play alot more football now and keep possesion alot longer than we used to 2; we dont tend to sit on a 1-0 lead for 70-80 mins of the game hoping for 3 points 3; the average age of the team has been reduced 4; we havent exactly given levein a blank cheque book 5; levein doesnt just stand on the touchline rubbing his big chin when things are not going to plan 6; adams just signed trevor "ronaldo" benjamin 7; levein hasnt had the entire walkers stadium chanting "you dont know what your doing" after making a routine substitution. i for one admit we are crap and when i go to watch it does bore me as i can also see tht nearly all the teams in this league are crap and that makes it even worse, but i cannot justify blaming mr levein for this............yet.
