What the hell :S

If memory serves me right you are a Leicester fan? Or were you a closet Plymouth fan?

He's had us all hoodwinked.

Back on topic. I'd be surprised if we actually won more than 1 of those games with the horrid football we've been playing recently.

:crylaugh:

I always thought you were a Plymouth fan.

And how do you know that anyway? Most of the sensible Plymouth fans have said that under Holloway, you played good football. Perhaps the pitch hinders us.

You know you're in shit street when you have a Plymouth fan telling you about your chances of staying up.

That's not true, It was Holloway who said we played good football under him...yet more self adulation. Even before he left some of us fans couldn't understand his comments about the quality of the football. He likes long ball.....the only positive was that he liked to attack. Our midfield at home was often overrun, and long balls to Ebanks Blake became the norm.

Well i'm only going on what several Plymouth fans on THIS forum have said.

I would look for the posts but i've got better things to do.

EDIT: I've just stumbled across this... from pafc neil in the post match thread...

Hi, another Argyle fan here. Just an observation, but isn`t it a bit early calling for Holloway to be sacked. I like most Argyle fans was well pissed off when he left but all that does is tell you that he was a great manager for us . To be honest i think yesterday was an emotional day for him and probably why he wasn`t himself. I have been on this site a few times, especially during the Norris saga to try to find out who he was going top sign for, and the thing above all i find hard to beleive is why your fans don`t seem bothered about the state of your pitch. It is not suprising your team has had to resort to hoofball with that surface. You can excuse areas of the pitch that there is no grass on but your pitch looked like it had molehills on it even before kick off. I watched the game on sky when you played crystal palace and the pitch was almost as bad then too. The football we saw here under olly was great with free flowing passing along the ground, something that i would have thought impossible on the walkers pitch. How can you expect good players to play on that pitch??? Anyway enjoy the rest of the season, i am sure if you give olly the time he needs , he will turn the fortunes of the club around. personally i am quite pleased that Holloway left us as i have always been a Sturrock fan, he took us out of the doldrums and signed some fantastic players for us on a minimal budget- thats not to take anything away from olly, there was always an air of excitement at home park when he was in charge, even if his tactics sometimes left a lot to be desired.

So theres one and i havent even looked.

Just did that Championship predictor on BBC and we have an easier runin than most this is how i had the final table.

West Brom 85

Watford 84

---------------------------------

Stoke 81

Charlton 75

Wolves 73

Cardiff 72

---------------------------------

Crystal Palace 71

Bristol City 71

Ipswich 67

Hull 63

Burnley 63

Plymouth 62

Norwich 62

Sheff utd 61

Southampton 54

QPR 53

Leicester 52

Barnsley 52

Blackpool 50

Preston 47

Coventry 44

---------------------------------

Sheff wed 41

Scnthorpe 38

Colchester 34

Maybe a little biased but i beleive we have a much easier run in than many teams down the bottom we play against Colchester, Scnthorpe, Both Sheffield's, Coventry, Preston, Barnsley and Southampton who are all beatable sides. at the end of the day we lost 1 game 1-0. Im 95% certain we wont be relegated

Its not just about our fixtures against the teams below us its their other fixtures too.

Look at Sheff Wed, for a start they have a game in hand on us, if they win that we are just 1 point above the drop zone.

Sheff Wed next 3 Championship fixtures are all at home, so they are likely to get some points.

We have an impossible task against Watford who have just had 2 good wins, then the tricky home tie against Norwich.

Knowing us we will beat Watford 2-0 on Tuesday then lose to Norwich 1-0 Saturday.

If we lose these next 2 games, we will be in the drop zone.

I know you had a go at me for talking about playoffs a few games ago but....

The division is so tight 2 defeats we are on the verge of the drop zone, 2 wins not that far from playoffs.

We have got 1 point from the previous 3 games, losing just 1 point on the playoffs.

If we had won those 3, we would only be 3 points behind the playoffs, yes we would be 1 win behind the playoffs instead of 1 defeat above relegation zone.

Thats how tight this division is, even if we had won the last 2 against Blackpool and Plymouth, games we should win, yes i know we didn't we would only be 5 points off the playoffs.

Unfortunately we lost both, so are just above relegation, but playoff teams keep dropping points too.

We remain only 11 points off the playoffs, but based on the last 2 games have absolutely no chance.

It would be such a different story if we got the 2 wins, and were just 5 points off the playoffs.

I mean i would be going fooking crazy for those playoffs if only we had won :D

Now im seriously worried about relegation, Levein and Kelly had no money to spend, we have spent well over £6m i rekon and we are no better if not worse than before.

Well im sure i dont need to be the one to remind people that if we get little or no points from those games then we are in serious trouble!

And quite frankly we deserve to go down if we dont put in the performances and get some sort of results against these teams!

I want to see us get beat 4-0 or worse at home, maybe that will motivate the players to train harder, work harder and improve. and give them the kick up the arse they need.

As long as we keep losing 1-0, 2-0 i can't see anything improving.

These players need to learn a fooking lesson, a 4-0 home defeat should surfice.

We have them all at home (Sheff Wed, Scunny, Colchester and Preston).

Anyone else think these 4 games will be critical?

Every game is critical. We have to win probably 6 more games to stay up. I don't think 46/47 points will be enough.

We simply can't lose any of these games as the table stands at the moment. Unfortunately I can't see us winning more than 1 of these on current form so 6 points is probably it from these four matches.

We looked relegation candidates on Saturday and we simply can't score the goals needed to keep us up.

I think we have to start winning our home games starting this saturday if we dont then i think we will go down i just cant see us getting points away from home

S****thorpe = Win

Sheffield Wednesday = draw

Preston = loss

colchester= draw

Lots of people have made these sorts of predictions and TBH they have all bin wrong. Leicester are so inconsistent. Anything can happen.

Yes. Smart move.
