Chimp Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Everyone on here needs to get out of this negative mindset because this what always happens when we lose a couple of games. Ok we've played poor in games we would have expected at least a point from each but we'll improve again because we always do. A club with the quality of players we have i cannot see us going down most fans of other clubs cannot see us going down. We have 2 tough games this week and we need to get behind the boys because if we dont get behind them no one else will and it will destroy their confidence even further. I think the problem is peoples expectations are to high, we get good results in 3 games and alot of people start talking of play offs - no chance - we hadnt even played that well, we're in a fight but i beleive we have a great chance of being just fine at the end of the season. I could ramble on for ages but im to tired so i'll leave it at that.KEEP THE FAITH I'm 100% keeping the faith. I think we'll pull through this period. My main concern is that, if the recent comments in the press are anything to go by, we have a manager that is incapable of accepting any blame for the recent defeats. I'd like to see Ollie say that, as much as he's not getting the most from the team, he's made mistakes himself. That when he says the team needs to stand up and be counted that he's including himself in that too. No more passing the buck.

Ok we're not doing well at the moment, but being negative makes things worse, it rubs off on the players! Look at Newcastle! If everyone just kept their heads up, no booing at half time, cheer the team on even if we go a goal behind it rubs off on the players! One person posted on here that the Birmingham game last season was good even though we lost 2-1. Yeah it was good. Thats because all the fans stood together and the amosphere was awesome, just keep that going and our fortunes will change and you will feel alot better about going to the game! If your gonna be negative, don't bother going down you miserable fookers we don't want you down there! KEEP THE FAITH!!

There are just a lot worse clubs to support and sometimes we do just need to put things into perspective. We could be supporting Luton, Bournemouth, clubs with no future. However there are times when we have every right to be miserable, like losing to Hull away!

Currently we are on midtable form, however due to the damage done previously, until we start displaying top of the table form we won't rise up the league much / at all.
