FleckneyFox Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Everyone on here needs to get out of this negative mindset because this what always happens when we lose a couple of games. Ok we've played poor in games we would have expected at least a point from each but we'll improve again because we always do. A club with the quality of players we have i cannot see us going down most fans of other clubs cannot see us going down. We have 2 tough games this week and we need to get behind the boys because if we dont get behind them no one else will and it will destroy their confidence even further. I think the problem is peoples expectations are to high, we get good results in 3 games and alot of people start talking of play offs - no chance - we hadnt even played that well, we're in a fight but i beleive we have a great chance of being just fine at the end of the season. I could ramble on for ages but im to tired so i'll leave it at that. KEEP THE FAITH

Just give it a few more defeats, and when we are in that drop zone we may start getting behind them. It will be like the Birmingham home game last season I came back with a big grin on my face that game, even though we lost. If Leicester played some good football, you could see they tried their best, and had passion for the shirt and we lose 3-0 i will go home happy. Thats all i want, effort, passion, belief, players all trying their best, a bit of urgency if we are behind, and good football. No matter the result that will keep the fans happy.

I think that's exactly what Holloway wants, he doesnt want the players to drop their heads if they go 1-0 down like they have been doing. They should just have the confidence to go for it a bit more, not worry so much about failing. Our players look scared out there. They should just play FOOTBALL, and not worry about losing! I think they would win a lot more if they just had the balls to go for it!!! Much prefer to lose 3-0 and play hearts out, attacking at every opportunity, than lose a 1-0 by playing safe, inhibited football.

FleckneyFox Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 So am i..............shit ain't it! To be fair yeah Plymouth was shit but thats the first poor performance at home since West Brom over 2 months ago so its not that alarming for me at the moment.

I can safely say that at the moment this is the worst team i have ever seen playing for city. That doesn't mean they are the least talented individually but as a team they are hopeless. As for expectations what were yours? Mine were roughly as follows. 1 To finish say13-15 2 To win more games than last season. 3 To score more goals than last season 4 to see a team playing more as a team and with some fight pride and passion for the club that employs them. Now if you call that expecting too much then you should be worried. But tell me how many of my expectations do we look likely to achieve? Now you might say I'm being negative but I would say i have ever right to be so and bloody angry on top of that. If I did my job as consistently badly as these guys are doing and have been doing week in and week out I would not have a job at I would not receive handsome payouts for being crap either.

Let's be under no false pretences. 1. We are not 'Too Big' to go down 2. We are not 'Too Rich' to go down, as the transfer window is closed. 3. Judging on our on pitch performances post Coventry we are certainly not 'Too Good' to go down. My expectations for this season have always been to stay up with an aim to finish mid table, but we are in very very serious danger here. In honesty I cannot see us taking any points at Watford, especially based on Saturday's performance, and Norwich are an in form team. I have faith in Ollie and I definitely think we should stick with him, even if we do go down. I think at the moment I'd place us at about 60-40 to stay up, but there is a very real risk that people have overlooked. I will keep the faith, whether or not the other 21,000 will remains to be seen. No matter how much faith you have it doesn't hide the shit we're in.
Calum McDermott Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Whatever!........do you actually pay money to whatch the shite? fook off PAULCFC, your clearly not a true fan
Raj Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 If there was no negativity after the last 4 years from fans, i would be very very worried. Just proves people actually care about the club to be worried and negative now and again. Just like people who say we are gonna go in the play offs after 2 wins!!!! Im sure Reading FC fans are pretty negative too at the moment!!!
