Andy, talk to me about trains for this one.

Just had a quick look on train line and it's still £17.

How far away is the train station from the ground? It's just that there's a 5.45 back and then the next one's at like 8 pm or something like that

Yeah 5:45 would be pushing it I think, but possible.

I'll look into it tonight.

We managed to get the 5.20pm back to Bristol Temple Meads, that was after a lock in, and then having to run back to the station.

Stupid police.

I have found out this week that they can piss on your Article 5 rights for definite. :@

Stupid laws.

Spanish Police are also cu nts!:whistle:

Having seen first hand the Spanish police in action, I wouldn't argue with any of them.

I would, but I'm not very bright. Combining that with a feisty nature has been my downfall if I'm honest.

Which I'm not.

Which is also my downfall.

Ninian Park station is a few minutes walk from the ground but you'd probably have to have a word with the police to leave in time for it . It leaves at 5.15 and they usually keep you behind until after 5.00.

Here's a link of trains from Ninian Park to Leicester and visa versa.

Thanks for that.

Sounds like we'd probably be ok for the 5.45 train back to be honest.

Also a ten minute walk out of the ground to the left and you have Grangetown station which is only one stop from Cardiff central

I am going if Allen is going to show me the sights of Cardiff.

You'll need to be staying over for me to do that

No seriously if you're going let me know and we'll have that long awaited pint and if anyone else wants a tour of the place I'd be happy to help out.

I warned my mate whose engagement bash I'm going to in the evening to expect a few more then the Allen +1 it states on the invite.

I'm all over hotels.co.uk as I type - wife#1 has just given her permission for me to go (which strongly increases her chances of remaining wife#1)

Scrub that - Cardiff seems to think it can charge daft hotel rates.

It's going to be a quick tour of Torchwood and then I'm gone!

Nice one. Let me know how you get on.

Me and my mate are thinking of getting a hotel.

We are both a £25 taxi ride away in opposite directions from Cardiff city centre so a hotel may be our best option.

We may be in Brizzle again for this one. Not good for the course work, and not good for the running.

Right - where's a blinding place to get legless in Cardiff at half past twelve in the morning?

If you find out, let me know. I have no intention of driving to this one.

Nearest pub to the station is The Prince of Wales it's a Weatherspoons but one of the better ones if there is such a thing

Cardiff Bay has some decent pubs but by the time you get down there you'll only a time for a couple of pints!

The bay is a rather pointless journey and a bit pricey. Prince of Wales is a perfectly decent and convienient and there's a fair few others around.

Still think im going... Dont know why. Train i think, Leicester to Birmingham then Birmigham to Cardiff. Pretty fare price aswell.
