ADK Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Contribute? I started this thread! That's not even the post of yours I ripped off is it? keep up. The real quesion is, ARE YOU GOING TO CONTRIBUTE, by stop being tiresome and discuss the brilliantness of a team full of Phillpotts, a dream this man has ended, this alone is a reason he should never be released. He only killed six of them didn't he? out of 17? We can still have a team of Phillpotts, just won't be able to fill the bench out.

Some will be girls though and some are mere infants, although they'd still probably beat our current starting XI.
BoneDog Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 By murdering the kids he had with another woman? Wasn't his plan to blame her for the fire though? I haven't read much about this story and I only heard about the 1978 thing two days ago, but sure I heard that he'd planned on blaming her, and had already started rumours that she was planning to firebomb his house or something. He's got serious history of doing horrific things when rejected by women so I don't see this premeditated event as any different to the first one. I think that the media associating his 'psychoness' to the welfare state is ridiculous. I just heard a headline about it on the radio and couldn't believe it. They've just jumped on this story to try and add more dirt to whole benefits debate in my opinion. They've stooped to a low level yet again. Edit : I'm not saying that he meant for the kids to die in the fire though, incase that's what it sounds like.
Leicfox Posted 5 April 2013 Posted 5 April 2013 A women reported to the police that Phillpott raped her and now a full investigation is under way. He'll stay in prison until he dies.
Daggers Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 I'm not tarring everyone with the same brush, we're all individuals and we're all responsible for our own actions but there is a section of society who seem to think they can do as they like and someone else can pick up the tab. Says the man claiming his benefits at the tax-payers expense. You simply don't appreciate the words "irony" and "hypocrite" do you?! You carry on living your lifestyle - I'll continue paying for it.
Orkneyfox Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 He was/is a very violent disturbed man, his financial status had little or nothing to do with it. read the Judges comments and you will see what he was really like. http://www.independe...at-8562469.html
absolutelegend Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Thought this was a thread about the mighty Lee Philpott One of the worst leicester players? No way. He was alright. I've seen a lot worse down the KP in recent years, inc. half our current team of highly paid stars.
Tempwan Yierban Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Actually an anagram of thick imp plot which is where the clue lies. (why must baddies always leave a clue?) Should be easy to unravel now though since the imp behind the plot is evidently thick.
Zingari Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 It also reads as "thick ol' pimp " All the clues were there , how did he slip through the system ? We all must take some of the blame .
Tempwan Yierban Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 In Albania we say 'if blame is to be apportioned, let it be so!!' ( rough translation). Much catchier in Albanian or whatever our language is called. I don't know. 6 quid for a small car or do you want inside doing?
Zingari Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 He was/is a very violent disturbed man, his financial status had little or nothing to do with it. read the Judges comments and you will see what he was really like. http://www.independe...at-8562469.html Very good read , thanks , Hopefully Osbourne and Cameron will take their heads out of their arses to read it . Thirlwall recounted that Mick Philpott almost killed two women when he was a soldier in his twenties – employed, you might note, not remotely on benefits. Philpott was a violent and jealous boyfriend, at one point breaking his young girlfriend’s arm, another time smashing her leg with a sledgehammer. Eventually his jealousy led to him breaking into her house, stabbing her repeatedly in a ferocious attack and then turning the knife on her mother. “You have, I am rightly reminded, served your sentence for that, but it is clear from the evidence that I excluded from the trial that you have used that conviction as a means of controlling women, terrifying them in what you might do.â€

ADK Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Shouldn't have been let out the first time. We could cut crimes like this in half by just not releasing the criminals after we caught them.
leicsmac Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Shouldn't have been let out the first time. We could cut crimes like this in half by just not releasing the criminals after we caught them. Better option perhaps to get both rehabilitation officers (to give criminals the chance to change) and parole officers (to indicate whether or not that change has occurred) need to raise their game? At the moment, we've got far too many people in prison who shouldn't be there (waste of money) and too many out in society that should be in prison (waste of lots of other stuff). It's not so simple as just "lock 'em all up".
flowwolf Posted 9 April 2013 Posted 9 April 2013 For what it's worth I contacted Mr Philpots solicitor and asked him to ask Mr Philpot if he would like to log on to our website via the pc in his cell and read the comments made by our members. Mr Philpots reply was that he is too busy at the moment with the internet porn but any messages of supportorf financial support for the rest of his children would be gratefully accepted and may lead to him changing allegence from Derby County to becoming a Leicester fan. The balls in our court gentlemen it's up to you.
