Bert Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 I'm a fan of NBA, and I like the All-Star game. Its all about entertainment and having some fun and as you said leave the defense is the locker room Kobe still played for some reason. And he took the MVP as well. And btw, the West won 153-132. How pissed of does the number 4 from East look?
Koke Posted 18 February 2008 Author Posted 18 February 2008 Fairly pissed cos he's a mediocre player I presume. Did anyone watch it? In the building up to the game they were asking Steve Nash about Tottenham's chances in the Carling Cup final against Chelsea and I liked how he showed very good knowledge about our game
Samu Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 LeBron James has been the Daddy for a couple of seasons now. But I still like Kobe And Iversen :w00t: And I think Shaq's still at Miami Heat isn't he? I heard recent talk of him moving elsewhere though. Nope Shaq went to Phoenix in exchange for Shawn Marion and a couple more players. Bad move by Phoenix if you ask me, Marion is an awesome player and Shaq is getting on a bit now

Chris Paul was the star for me for the West, and Stoudamire and Brandon Roy were pretty impressive too. Ray Allen helped change the game for the East though

Wasn't that last year? The East won this year, LeBron MVP
Koke Posted 18 February 2008 Author Posted 18 February 2008 You are right. Don't know why they had the 2007 images on the nba website. Fell asleep a bit into the 3rd quarter so forgive me for misinforming you lot.

Ray Allen helped change the game for the East though I wanted Stoudamire to be a starter, cos I really like that man. I remember watching him and Steve Nash and Shawn Marion just scoring for fun. Then Stoudamire got a serious injury and Marion was traded to Miami. It all went a bit pear shaped for them.
Koke Posted 18 February 2008 Author Posted 18 February 2008 He was playing last night. Didn't quite notice him or maybe that's just me. And also its just that Miami have won once this season and lost the rest
Joe. Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 He was playing last night. Didn't quite notice him or maybe that's just me.And also its just that Miami have won once this season and lost the rest Yeah for a minute there I didn't see his name in the team list. And I don't know what's happened to Miami, they had a great team not so long back.

Fell asleep a bit into the 3rd quarter so forgive me for misinforming you lot. I don't blame you for falling asleep. I gotta admit I just watched the extended highlights on the internet. Stoudamire is an awesome player, such a shame he was injured most of last season! Can't believe they got rid of Marion. Stoudamire, Marion and Nash were awesome together

As for the slam dunk contest, Dwight Howard is a ****ing monster, 6'10'' and 120kg but with a ridiculously incredible athletic abilities. Inhuman.

Benji Posted 20 February 2008 Posted 20 February 2008 The superman one reminds me of Space Jam where he reaches his arm over form like halfway and it stretches to the basket
