Well Done to the "proper" away fans.

I'd just like to say well done to the fans who follow Leicester to all away games, I don't know how you do it.

I haven't been to that many away games this season, Crystal Palace, Charlton, Villa, Chelsea, Coventry, most of the big ones i'll admit, and I know we have been through all the "Support your team not matter what" and "Make noise no matter what" e.t.c which is correct and how it should be, but today just sums up and reminds me why I don't go to many away games.

Imagine going all the way down to Plymouth for example (It was a draw, a bore draw which is almost as bad but it just an example) and losing or all the fans that went to Blackpool and losing like we did.

It was bad enough today and it's literally 15 minutes for me to get home from Coventry, I can get there quicker than I can Leicester but it was a horrible feeling.

I consider myself a big, true, loyal Leicester fan but just couldn't hack traveling every other week especially when it's such a risky/poor team like we currently have.

 (Without the smile, just the clapping) Well done to the true, loyal supporters who travel up and down the country.

Away days are often more about the actual days than the game itself.

The days as a whole are almost always a good laugh.

We inflict it upon ourselves, don't worry lol

Seriously, despite going every week and seeing the shite our team serve up I still enjoy going however crazy that sounds.

It just annoyed me today the fans who left after 75 minutes when the second goal went in.

And while plaudits are being dished out - well done to the glory hunting fans who came along expecting another 4-0 victory and left after 72 minutes when they realised it wasn't going to happen.

Kudos to you.

We have the best part-time supporters in the world :scarf:

Hey, just to stick up for my "excuse" i'd have been more than happy with a bore draw, infact i'd have been happy (Well not happy but you'll get my point - I think) if we lost 1-0 but actually shown some fight or tried, that fact we didn't is whats pissed me off, and probably why people left early...IF we shown some fight, and tried and saw a little glimpse of something left in the game they may have stayed :dunno:

The whole point of the away days for me is to see some mates and have a laugh, then watch a game. Today was probably the least Ive enjoyed an away day this season and thats because the football made up the majority of the day rather than the travelling and interacting. Blackpool for example was brilliant because you had the fun day out at the beach messing around and then watched a game that had some brilliant banter with the crowd.

Beside at least most of us on this board go to games, even if they are just home games, I had a text of a mate who's a Wolves fan who doesn't go to any games at all, when we went 2 down saying "hahahaha" I was pissed off and replied with "Come back when you actually go to some of 'your teams' games"...he hasn't replied yet.

can't stand some of these so called fans who leave early yet prior to that are gobbing off to fellow leicester supporters(who have paid hard earned cash to be there) for not following there example of getting wasted, and becoming abusive(in front of there own children)all because when were two nil down not all of us feel like standing and cheering for the crap weve seen today.Apparently not chanting means your not a leicester fan.

On a positive well done to the fans who never stopped chanting, stayed till the end, and put covscum in there place.

Ive always found that the people who text you laughing when you lose are the ones that dont even go to see their own team play. They seem to take more pleasure in us losing than seeing their own teams play.

Again fans wanting praise!!

lol

I stayed right to the end today, however hard it was to see them country fans enjoying getting one over on us!!

I don't blame the fans that left early, sometime frustration gets to you and that is why people left. I wasn't expecting a big win, i was infact expecting a bore draw.... How i wish we could have got that now....

Oh well.... we are still here, we will be there again and again and again.... players, managers they can come and go, it is us who will stick with this club through thick and thin!!

I stayed because deep down, I really, really, hoped that we would come away with the draw.

For the record, I am not taking the pills.

I thought it was because you wouldnt be able to get out past Karim Benzema's long legs

I'm always the same. I can't leave before the end, because if I missed us scoring, even just a consolation, I'd be gutted. I rememer my dad taking me to watch City vs Grimsby at Filbo during 93/94. We wer a gaol down after 2 minutes, Clive Mendonca putting them ahead. The score remained the same into injury time. My dad got up to leave, but I was refusing to budge. The steward was bollocking us for standing, but we ignored him, too busy bickering about whether to stay or go. I won the argument, and Julian Joachim's late equaliser vindicated me and saved me a slapped arse. That night, my mum was out in Leicester. The following morning, she woke me up and presented me with Steve Walsh and Joachim's autographs, having seen them out the previous night. Happy days.

I too have never been able to leave games before the whistle, i just don't know why!!

I think i would still cling on to hope even if we were 5-0 down in the last ten mins...

You could sense it was going to be one of them days as soon as they got that penalty!!
