clazkel Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Agree with Jimmy, Fryatt should be starting. Howard, DJ and Hayles are doing fook all. I agree Fryatt should be starting, he is a better all round player than the strikers we have, and a better prospect. He was playing really well, a class above the rest of the team imo before he was dropped when Howard and Hayles came in The players i would keep are Stearman Oakley Weso Hume Fryatt Also would like Mattock, Kisnorbo, Shush!, Hayes, McAuley, Clemence to stay at the club

He was playing really well, a class above the rest of the team imo before he was dropped when Howard and Hayles came in I find it unbelievable that people can write such things. This season he's had 17 league starts and scored a total of two goals. At the end of the day, the guy's in the team to score goals and he simply has not done that. Yet people are still claiming he's a class above and the best option we have up front. Simply not true in my opinion. I think he does have some potential but he has not shown that at all this season, never looked up for it, nor has he looked hungry for the ball. When he's in possession he always has his head down and never looking to pass, often ends up losing the ball and putting us under pressure. I really don't see the hype around the guy based on this season.

ASH17LCFC Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Whats Fryatt ever done when hes been on ? Offers alot more then Howard and Hayles. Fryatt not scoring still does alot more then Howard. Howard is a bad signing, 30 and over and we payed a million and a half Give Ollie no money and he builds a team ... Give him money and he buys Hayles and Howard.

So when Howards scoring (hes got a few hasnt he ?) hes not offering as much as Fryatt ? Until Fryatt starts playing like some people proclaim he does now, he shouldnt be starting.

Ok but why bring Hayles on instead of Fryatt ? Howard did nothing on saturday and was a disgrace to the shirt.

I wasnt there on Saturday so i can't really comment on that. But Hayles does seem to have an impact when he comes off from the bench from when i've watched him anyway. Just makes a nuisance of himself for the opposition.

shiv Posted 26 February 2008 Posted 26 February 2008 Fryatt? :laugh:Alnwick Kisnorbo Howard Stearman Campbell stearman and campbell are even funnier
DanTheFox07 Posted 26 February 2008 Posted 26 February 2008 Tell me what Fryatt offers that makes him a better player than DJ? I would have thought the only thing dj campbell has over fryatt is pace, because he can`t finish and everyone has a go at fryatt but he has hardly been given a run of games in the first team, and were not exactly doing well.
