Uncle Albert Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 You would want in the team next season Championship or League 1. On this season's performances. Mattock Stearman Kisnorbo Clemence DJ - He will get better
Jimmy Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Mattock Stearman Oakley Fryatt (played well would score given a run with some proper wingers) Bori
Simi Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Fryatt? Alnwick Kisnorbo Howard Stearman Campbell
Samilktray Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Fryatt? :laugh:Alnwick Kisnorbo Howard Stearman Campbell Completely agree With the laughing.
Jimmy Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Fryatt? :laugh:Alnwick Kisnorbo Howard Stearman Campbell for all the people praising Campbell, if he didn't have pace you wouldn't want him in the team as he has no footballing brain and is so wasteful in front of goal, he is basically a better (but not by much) version of Elvis Hammond

Obviously can do something if he scored a fair few goals in a promoted side.
Daggers Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Stearman, Mattock, Kisnorbo, Clemence and Martin Fulkokopops
Jimmy Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Tell me what Fryatt offers that makes him a better player than DJ? his general play and footballing ability is far better then Campbell, he is more aware, better control and skill on the ball, doesn't get caught off side half as much either
Jimmy Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 He can do it in this league though, look at last season with Birmingham.Obviously can do something if he scored a fair few goals in a promoted side. and yet they couldn't wait to offload him and he was never a regular in their side
Simi Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 his general play and footballing ability is far better then Campbell, he is more aware, better control and skill on the ball, doesn't get caught off side half as much either He doesn't get caught offside because he doesn't have the intelligence or the ability to play on the shoulder of the last defender. Whereas Campbell does and when you're playing with someone like Howard - It's what you're looking for. There is no evidence this season that Fryatt deserves to be here next year.
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 I want to keep Gradel!! That's it, he has adapted to league one football!!
Thracian Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 It's so hard when you cannot consider the likely alternatives. But from the present options: Stearman, Gradel, Beswick, Oakley (captain) King Plus perhaps: ========= Alnwick Campbell Mattock, Wesolowski Lee Cox Howard Porter (if recovered) That's 11. ====== A bit of me would like Dodds back because eight goals from out of position in midfield is a worthwhile return from a first full season and he'd certainly be a decent option off the bench. But that's about it. I would then look round for big, strong defenders who could pass and some fast, equally strong players who could help our goals threat. Not all of my 11 nominated players would be in the starting line up, never mind at the same time, but I do think they have the ability to be assets and to fit into the sort of team that would be fit, fast, could score goals and be reasonably entertaining.
Samilktray Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 his general play and footballing ability is far better then Campbell, he is more aware, better control and skill on the ball, doesn't get caught off side half as much either If this is the case, then why when he does get a chance does he not make anything of it?
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Campbell annoyed me yesterday when he was through he passed it back, that is a massive sign of no confidence!!
The Stig Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Stearman Mattock DJ Howard Oakley Clemence Yeah so I put six live with it.
David O'Leary Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Kisnorbo Campbell Clemence Mattock Oakley
