Stevosevic Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 For making gestures to the crowd, what exactly did he do? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_1/default.stm
Joe. Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 It's blatantly just an excuse to get him onto the transfer list
The Stig Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 According to Palace fans he's shit anyway so I think League 1 beckons, thinking about it he might end up here!
Alexikokopops Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Pretty sure it was gesturing to his own fans, not the opposition, which makes more sense.
andyh1884 Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 A one-finger salute to the home fans as they booed the team off
Stevosevic Posted 25 February 2008 Author Posted 25 February 2008 A one-finger salute to the home fans as they booed the team off Oh, i'm surprised Cort didn't do this to us.
Simi Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 I think Elliot Ward should be punished for his celebration on Saturday to be honest. All the big deal the FA and Football League make about players running into the crowd, I think a opposition player taunting away fans entices them onto the pitch or to be abusive, which they'd get done for.
Staf Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 A one-finger salute to the home fans as they booed the team off I dont rate him at all Dele Adebola is better
DB11 Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Link to direct article. Crystal Palace have transfer-listed and fined striker Shefki Kuqi, 31, two weeks' wages for gesturing to fans after being substituted against Wolves."He has apologised to me and the fans - after the horse has bolted," boss Neil Warnock said after the 2-0 home defeat. "I will be transfer-listing him immediately. I don't accept things like that, so that is the end of the matter. "I have told him that I realise he was disappointed, it is not nice at times, but you cannot go off like that."

Can't believe you said that. Yes, in this modern crazy world, he probably should have got booked, but really lets be honest, if you can't cope with the opposition player coming over when you score, theres something wrong with you. If he got physically abused, or someone came on the pitch, I can see why people would say it's his fault, but really it's the fault of the mug who ran on the pitch....
accessory Posted 29 February 2008 Posted 29 February 2008 Does anyone else realise the irony here? It's not as if Warnock has never made gestures to fans..
ousefox Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 i thought he was on loan at Fulham @ the start of the season so he cant be that bad
Suffolk_fox Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Kuqi is actually a good player - I remember seeing him at Ipswich once, never stops working. Wouldn't mind him here tbh
