Kopfox Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 So..............................where does that leave us?
Uncle George Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Milan will give this bunch of so called footballers a big financial incentive( above their usual wages/bonus payments) to win enough games to keep us up. Money, and lots of it, is the one thing that will motivate them. Lets face it, how much would City stand to lose if they went down? With this strategy, City will beat Hull, S****horpe, Colchester and Shef Wed. Add to this the vocal support of the legions of desperate City fans and we will survive.
FleckneyFox Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Cov and Saints still have quite a tough run ins.
General Smuts Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 The only positive there is that we have to play the other 3 teams in the bottom 4. The negative to that is that Leicester are shit against shit teams.
davieG Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 So..............................where does that leave us? It means we've got to start winning games and stop worrying about the other relgation threatened teams. It really only matters what they're doing if we are winning games because unless we do we not going to move up the league irrespective of what might they do!
Zingari Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 I think we need a "Foinavon" type scenario to help us win this race

Ashley Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Coventry and Sheff Wed still have to play each other twice Wont be suprised if both teams pick 3pts up over the two games.
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Coventry and Sheff Wed still have to play each other twiceWont be suprised if both teams pick 3pts up over the two games. I'd still rather have our run in than Cov's though. There's looks ugly.

tartanowl Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Wednesday fan here. New to the site. I'm interested to hear what you Leicester fans think of your side and whether you think you'll avoid the drop. We finished Colchester the other night, and I think S****horpe will go down, it's between the other sides IMO as to who joins them. I'm still hoping the Blunts Other than Derby in the cup who were atrocious and we should have beaten, Southampton are the worst side I've seen at Hillsborough this season. What's gone wrong with your season? Having 3 managers can't have helped things, but with the money you've spent I would have thought you'd be doing better. Not blind loyalty but I honestly don't think we're going down. We're playing much better now, we're not conceding many goals, there seems a belief about the team, we have a couple of key players in Simek and Watson coming back soon, Burton & Tudgay are hitting a bit of form, and we've got a fairly decent run-in.

Its difficult to say and it will go all the way down to the wire. I just hope we secure our status before the last game of the season. We don't want to be going to Stoke needed points to stay up. It'll be nerveracking and I seriously don't have the stomach for that. Our defence are usually water tight, but our forwards can't hit a cows arse with a banjo and that have been our downfall all season. I think Wednesday will stay up and the last spot will be a toss up between us Cov and Saints.
