Simi Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 I wouldbt be surprised if it was Brian Howard but Steve And he didnt exactly play brilliant against West Brom...He was still his lazy self but just took the chances This is really starting to wind me up now. Please tell me what you're expecting from Steve Howard?
Messi Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 FFS did you go?? he wasnt exactly fantastic was he? theire was loads better players on the pitch but he took his chances like all strikers should do and hopefully he will continue to show that on saturday
Messi Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 This is really starting to wind me up now. Please tell me what you're expecting from Steve Howard? No...im not exactly calling him shit etc i am just saying he was still lazy i think he is a great player and how many goals has he got this season 6? so that nearly makes him our topgoalscorer and hopefully he will be in form next season like he was at derby...
The Stig Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 did you go??he wasnt exactly fantastic was he? theire was loads better players on the pitch but he took his chances like all strikers should do and hopefully he will continue to show that on saturday So long as he takes his chances and scores goals then I'm more than happy. Just recently we've had strikers who work their arse of, but don't score. Yes it'd be nice to have both, but lets be honest we're Leicester so it aint gonna happen, so I'll take Howard who socres over the others that don't please.

He's not really lazy, he's just not Iain Hume running around chasing everything. When he's given the ball, nine times out of ten he will lay it off successfully, which is exactly what he is here to do.

That is what i am saying...as long as he is scoring then keep him on...we could carry on playing fryatt etc players who can take players on but he never shoots, so come on stevie keep it up! He's not really lazy, he's just not Iain Hume running around chasing everything. When he's given the ball, nine times out of ten he will lay it off successfully, which is exactly what he is here to do. yeah i know...i wasnt slagging him off... im sorry if i offended you in anyway
Simi Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 yeah i know...i wasnt slagging him off... im sorry if i offended you in anyway You didn't offend me at all, I just think the stick he's been getting lately is a bit off.
Messi Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 You didn't offend me at all, I just think the stick he's been getting lately is a bit off. yeah i agree, wasnt him calling him brilliant on staurday but i definately wasnt calling him shit. Super,Super Steve....
Super Arj Posted 20 March 2008 Posted 20 March 2008 hes the only player to score a hat trick vs west brom this season and leicester are the only team to score 4 past them this season too!!
teblin Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 Look just because we have one stiker that runs about like a tit. Doesn't mean that they all do it. Howard is not being lazy, he is doing what he is told too do. Bew the focal point of our front line so people can play off him.
Fatbloke Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 It`s good that we have a player being considered, can we all not just be PLEASED ! last player to score a hat trick away from home, Lineker in 1984 !!! he`ll do for me, well done Steve.

Still not entirely sure why we ditched the Hume and Howard partnership, it seemed to work against Cov at home...
