Leicester vs Hull City Match Thread

Sticking with the hugely successful 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 or however it works.

Ian Holloway has made one change to the starting line up that gained a 4-1 victory over West Brom for the Championship clash against Hull City at the Walkers Stadium.

Jamie Clapham comes in for Joe Mattock, who drops to the bench.

Other than that it is as you were for the visit of Phil Brown's Tigers.

Steve Howard and Barry Hayles continue in attack, with Patrick Kisnorbo, Bruno N'Gotty and Gareth McAuley making up the back three.

Henderson

N'Gotty - Kisnorbo - McAuley

Stearman - Oakley - Hendrie - Clapham

Fryatt

Hayles - Howard.

Subs: Mattock, Clemence, Campbell, Etuhu, Wesolowski.

* Formation above is a guess. Anyone's guess... I wonder if Ollie even knows... :giggle:

Still do not rate this formation... not least in a home game against a team like Hull, we just havent (by the sounds of it) applied the kind of pressure we should be and thats down to the thread bare midfield and slow forwards IMO.

It would be nice to get to half time ahead but at least we havent conceded.

Not that we havent given them plenty of chances...

And now we've paid the price... gotta admit its been on the cards since we opted for a 5-2-3 formation, at home! to Hull! :frusty:

We should have some pace up front and some presence in midfield... five at the back is just an invitation for the opposition to saunter into our half, dominate posession and pile on the pressure!

Just coz 5-2-3 beat 10/9 man WestBrom doesnt mean its some kind of cure-all and anyone can see its doing nothing for us now...
