yea, i played on COD 4 on saturday and there was a couple of Leicester people on there, they asked if i went on here. Think his gamertag was Johhny LCFC.

That was my mate. He is an awful sniper, but handy with a Deagle. I was in the game too, I asked you if you went on FT haha.

I went on to a game (Manchester Map) one of the players was hovering, I was in a quite good position to hit him with my sniper, 4 shots later in the head he was still hovering shot me once and I was dead :angry:

Probably a glitch mate. People are sad enough to play these games that much that they can work out these little ways of getting to impossible places and such like.

It happens as well when the maps aren't on, so you can't see where people are, you can be in a nice lil hidy hole, and bang someone comes up and your dead lol proper winds me up!

Still, I'm pretty addicted to it!

Be interested to hear about other people's online gaming experiences!

I used to be online with my original XBox. Fuggin' hated it. It's like the gaming version of BBC 606. Full of gobshites who feel really brave on the end of a mic (or on the end of a keyboard if they're on 606). Tossers kick you out of games if you're not good enough. It's ok, I suppose if you're online with yer mates, but I didn't enjoy it. All that U.S vs U.K boll0cks drove me nuts. Trying to decide between PS3 & XBox at the moment, online gaming won't be a deciding factor for me. 70/30 in the favour of Sony at the moment due to the 'rings of death' on the XBox.

The red ring of death on the 360 is gradually fading away......as they improve the console as they are doing by using different chips, more heat sinks and other technical bollocks, the failure rate is decreasing all the time.... Do yourself a favour and do not let that be the deciding factor - you will regret it.

As for the online - it is brilliant. The best part of both consoles i would think (even the PS3, which is apparently having problems, but they will be sorted). Of course you have gobshites, its the same on both consoles - thats how it works. You can always mute them if they are talking bollocks. As for getting kicked,i've never had this happen on my 360,

No problem mate. Like you say, with the recent price drop,you can hardly go wrong with a 360.

Fair assessment Daggers. There's hardly anything in it at the moment. If you're going for online, then the 360's also the one. Yes you have to pay 30quid a year, but quality doesnt come for free - and that is what live is.

The only thing that would make me get a PS3 would be for the blue ray. And possibly this ''home''thing, i know next to nothing about it, but it sounds interesting.

Value for money 360 all the way.....
