HAHAHAHA well I did say this a while back, kept saying it - lets get Ollie out - but oh no, the fickle supporters, who clap every time the side manages to pass the ball 5 yards, City win one game and all of a sudden it's 'lets keep Ollie, he's great' and now 'lets get rid'

It's obvious Ollie is a crap manager from day one

Yeah i will go with you on that mate. :frusty:

Holloway is a disgrace to our club. We should've put Megson on a better contract and he'd still be here. Say what you want about the bloke, he's working miracles at Bolton.

I would rather watch leicester in the conferance than have that negative ginger twat here. Dont want olly either anymore should have appointed warnock instead of allen should go for Davies now if he will come.

But he's got passion hasn't he? That always wins football matches obviously.

Well it started when the numbskull put Howard and Hayles up front together after almost every chance fell to Hume first half, in one move that ended us being a threat. The mind boggles it really does. As if that wasn't bad enough, last 15 minutes with Howard AND McAuley was the worst tactical decision I've ever seen.

Completely agree, Hume was causing their defence all sorts of problems in the first half. Hayles and Howard were so bad it would be laughable if we were safe and the result didn't matter.

Anyone but Holloway for the Stoke game! Holloway reminds me of Frank Mclintock when he was manager at City and he brought old players out of retirement and sent us down!

There are only two men to save our season now:

I believe Micky Adams was hoping to get the managers job at the Dons after Allen left for you and was interviewed for it.

I can't believe that Holloway hasn't been the right guy to turn the ship around for you lot. You look at his record and you can understand why he was appointed. I suppose there's one common denominator with your season long manager saga and that's Mandaric. How many managers has he fallen out with? Didn't Redknapp get sick of him at Pompey?

At Leicester, one.

I think.

tbh i do agree that Hume had to go off when he did. The peno was a disgrace, and after that his head just dropped, he wasn't going to pick up after that.

Hate Howard though, still think Hume and Fryatt should start up front. Playing the big man little man only works if the big man can win a header.

Also, what's the shock horror with putting McAuley up front toward the end? It was last 15, we were losing and obviously you throw caution to the wind and chuck everything forward. We got caught on the break, you have to accept that could happen.

Sheff Weds just wanted it more. If Hume had put the peno away, we would have been right back in the game, but he didn't.

Ollie would be one of the better managers in League One. I say wait till after the Stoke game, see which division we're in, and then decide.

Disappointing day, we're relying on others again.

Come on.MM has been great to Holloway hes gave him dosh and he is IMO spent it unwisely and can tell me whats good about his record in management.

I don't think he has spent unwisely. I think he's brought in some decent Championship players. Holloways downfall is that he can't get any kind of consistent level of good performance out of them.

His record must be similar too.

Almost anyone makes a big mistake and Holloway's immediate reaction is to get him off.

It's a reaction that solves nothing and mends nothing.

I can't be bothered with the deep psychology of it all cos it's just common sense to me.

Managing is easy when things are going well but a quality manager keeps all his players inspired whatever happens.

Hume felt that miss but everyone knows his character and the time to lift him again is there and then - by showing complete faith in him.

He'd been kicked when he saw that penalty pass the wrong side of the post. He didn't need kicking again.

Indeed the crowd showed better managerial instincts by chanting his name.

I'd want 11 players on the field with Hume's attitude and commitment - not to be taking off one of the few we had.

Wednesday must have been delighted.

Holloway has brought many players in that don't seem to be good enough (or they may be good enough but he doesn't play some of them in the correct positions), and he dropped players who shouldn't have been dropped. Also he publicly criticised some the players we already had when he arrived, saying they aren't good enough which wouldn't have done alot for morale

Tactics - i don't understand many of the decisions he makes. Always playing Howard when he doesn't link up very well with any of our other strikers, why, why, why? does he have to play a tall player up front, why not go for pace and play the ball on the floor. When Fryatt and DJ were warming up i thought i bet he takes Hume and Hayles off, and he did, i couldn't believe it, i was disgusted. I think Howard should've been taken off and DJ or Fryatt brought on and played up front. If he wanted both strikers on, then he should've taken Howard and a defender off. His tactics don't make sense to me and it really annoys me. I think Holloways player choices and tactics are partly to blame for the position we are in.

If he stays next year i hope he bring through the younger players rather than going for experience all the time (if we go down and hes still here he will probably have to bring younger players through as alot of the others will probably leave)

He won't. He's shown no signs of believing in them enough. The harder the game the more he turns to experience. Caution is his watchword. I don't give a toss how tall he is but he's a midget managerially.

Its pathetic, the experience hasn't paid off, he should've been playing players with passion, the younger players have more to prove so he should've had faith in more of them. He didn't need to bring so many players to the club he should've worked with what he had and got the best out of them, as Ollie said when he come to Leicester their heads were down because of the last few years, well why didn't he raise their heads and get the best out of them
