StroudFox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I want to know if Holloway did stay in the dugout or was geeing the team up when we went behind.
p.po40 Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Awfull this clown Ollie is a total nutter, get him out by monday Milan. All these so called promises, you are a clown hollaway, clueless, I bet you wish you never came here. What was being said by plymouth fans after your departure appear to be true, you couldnt manage a big team if you were given half the man.u. side to pick from. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RESIGN NOW!!! P.po
tewkesbury-fox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I want to know if Holloway did stay in the dugout or was geeing the team up when we went behind. Probably sat there thinking of lots of excuses as to why we lost He has to go,spent more money than we have had in a long while and still we are a shambles. If you cant hold on to 1-0 lead in front of 30,000+ with the stakes so high im sorry you need to be fired.
godders91 Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Holloway needs to go; and soon. Should never have got rid of Martin Allen.

No text speak mate If Holloway went on Monday we'd lose on Sunday. I'm not sure about whether or not he should stay after that.
lildave3 Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I don't know. I don't see anybody coming in and doing any better if i'm honest.
syston_fox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I don't know. I don't see anybody coming in and doing any better if i'm honest. Exactly. I just dont see the point of getting rid of him. May as well see which league we're in next season before making any decisions.
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 No manager in football could get these load of muppets playing football. IH lost it? No, the players have. Totally bottled it 2nd half. Disgrace.
The Stig Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I don't know. I don't see anybody coming in and doing any better if i'm honest. I'm still appauled we haven't moved in for Jol or Jose!
dave_1988 Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I'm not a fan of Holloway - he's really mishandled the money he was given in January, but I really don't think he should be sacked either - how far has the upheavel of changing managers got us in the past few years? We just get the same old excuses about "transition periods" and the squad not being their own selection. I know it's difficult to persuade people to be patient when we've watched the same drivel for the past 4 seasons, but I think that whatever division we are in next season, we'll perform better if we stick with what we've got than if we try and shake everything up yet again.
FleckneyFox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Ugh. Where did that go wrong? 1st half was decent we played well, good effort. 2nd half we still werent that bad, we were poor but not terrible. I dont know what to say i think we're just relying on Southampton to take a point from their last 2.
Mark Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Ugh. Where did that go wrong? 1st half was decent we played well, good effort. Well it started when the numbskull put Howard and Hayles up front together after almost every chance fell to Hume first half, in one move that ended us being a threat. The mind boggles it really does. As if that wasn't bad enough, last 15 minutes with Howard AND McAuley was the worst tactical decision I've ever seen.

No matter whether it's football or any other business, if the manager is so clearly inept (like Holloway is), giving them even more time in the wish for stability doesn't make them get any better, it just make your business go bust!

I've been at work today and some people were telling me the score. They said Hume scored and was playing well, then I hear he's put him in mid-field. I wasn't even listning to the game and couldn't understand the logic!

I didn't get why he swapped Hume and Hayles around today, made no sence when Hume was causing them all sort of problems. When he brought Fryatt and DJ on ... Two strikers right ... no better idea ... Hey gazza get up front with Howard. SACK HIM.

In both games we have been the better team in the first half. Not winning, but the better team. Panic, panic, panic...
renards Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I know for a fact MM was flying out from Heathrow after the game...if we won Make of it what you will?? MM doesn't like bull shitters and Hollow is the king. Hopefully he has stayed behind to get rid of the clown

The fact is an awful lot of this squad - including many Holloway aquisistions - will go this close season. The question is: Has he shown any hint that he can move us forward next season whatever div we're in? There is going to be upheaval these next few weeks. Do we really want him in charge of it?
maddog Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 All we have to do is win next week and we are safe, even a loss could still keep us safe. It's not over yet.

Stoke are at home and need a win for promotion, we can't even score a goal. As much as I hate to say it I just can't see us getting anything from the game.
