Flexx Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Sickening. One week everyone loves Ollie, the next everyone wants him gone. I would love to no if people still want Holloway in charge next season if we get relegated after this result. Don't no what to say anymore, i am starting to forget what it feels like to love the club. I used to be absolutely gutted when we lost and elated when we won. Now? Tbh after so many years of failure i am never surprised to see us lose and don't really feel the pain. All the fans at the start of the season saying they don't want Warnock anywhere near our club - now we see threads cropping up about regretting the fact you wrote emails to the club saying we don't want him. I even saw a post earlier saying we should have kept Allen. We were lucky to beat Barnsley - they hit the post twice in the game and how many shots on target did we have? Before that, we drew at home to Colchester and before that lost 3-0 away at Sheff Utd. What do you think, are our fans 'fickle'?

lookwhaticando Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Our fans are fickle. Holloway's not been very good lately. Repeat until bored.

The fact that only today can the club achieve a near full capacity says it all. I know fans cannot get to every game, myself included. But I have always had faith in them, even through the bad times, irrespective of who is the manager and which players are playing.
kendalfox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 What do you think, are our fans 'fickle'? No, just desperate for some modicum of success, ie. win the odd game now and again... I don't really think anyone knows what to make of our current situation. What you're reading here is an outpouring of the various levels of pain LCFC supporters are going through right now, nothing more, nothing less. Sadly this club has been on the slide for a few years and this was the season most of us were hoping would see an end to our misery, but in fact it has been worse, much worse, almost too much for most of us bear. Just how much we'll only know this time next Sunday...
lildave3 Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Well i've just heard some geezer on RL saying Rob Kelly should have been given a chance and kept on, I was amazed.
Flexx Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 Our fans are fickle.Holloway's not been very good lately. Repeat until bored. I apologise for bringing up a dreary thread. Just im a bit down after this. Sad, sad days for our club
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Well i've just heard some geezer on RL saying Rob Kelly should have been given a chance and kept on, I was amazed. Apparently somebody called "Steve Welsh" will never make it as a manager. Numpty. Where do they get these callers from?
lookwhaticando Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Well i've just heard some geezer on RL saying Rob Kelly should have been given a chance and kept on, I was amazed. Rob Kelly wasn't a bad lad really. It's quite funny that at least some people can look back on Rob Kelly - a man who managed the team without a penny to spend on 'quality' players - and wish he were here now. Actually, that's not funny at all... it's a fucking disgrace that we've not been completely transformed in the intervening period.

I suspect those that want Ollie in one week are not, in the main those that want him out the next, it's just that as we win/lose games it brings out the vocal majority for him to go or stay. So not as fickle as you suggest
lookwhaticando Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Apparently somebody called "Steve Welsh" will never make it as a manager.Numpty. Where do they get these callers from? Evington. Coalville. Shepshed.

What do you think, are our fans 'fickle'? People saying this really pisses me off - it isn't true. There are those of us who consistantly have wanted him gone for sometime & there are those who consistantly support him. It's the result which usually dictates which group is the most vocal/posting. People aren't changing their mind at all
The Reverend Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Apparently somebody called "Steve Welsh" will never make it as a manager.Numpty. Where do they get these callers from? I would of pissed myself had i not been so annoyed. Where do they get these retarded b@stards from? She also thought 'Welsh' had been a manager at Leicester already, when Parker was involved. Numpty.

She also thought 'Welsh' had been a manager at Leicester already, when Parker was involved. Numpty. Walsh was involed in 95/96ish when Mcghee fooked off. So she kinda right.
The Reverend Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Walsh was involed in 95/96ish when Mcghee fooked off.So she kinda right. No he wasn't. He said so himself that he's never been involved with that side of things.
RizLCFC Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Walsh was involed in 95/96ish when Mcghee fooked off.So she kinda right. I couldnt giv a ****kkk if Lenny Henry came to manage us just fukkin give us some value for money
ASH17LCFC Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 No he wasn't. He said so himself that he's never been involved with that side of things. Yeah he was with David Nish and it was Southend away. I got the programme for proof, he was taking training and helping select the team with Nish. So again shes kinda right and your wrong.
filbertboy Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 A total mess and disgrace.....you kinda get what you deserve city..fook all really.

Buffoon EVERYONE??? you haven't asked me, the man is a total clown..always has been, he will be sacked by the Stoke game. The only reason he is stilll here is the 'Ollies Army' chants, any other manager would of gone ages ago. The man is a total prat, to see half the stadium shaking their heads in dis believe at the substitutions said it all Get rid now!!

The Stig Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Leicester are as inconsistant as the fans are fickle. For example West Brom 1 Leicester 4 Leicester 2 Coventry 0 And then we go and get a load of results like this.
Ultra Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 BuffoonEVERYONE??? you haven't asked me, the man is a total clown..always has been, he will be sacked by the Stoke game. We should be so lucky...
