Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 Middlesbrough have recalled defender Chris Riggott from his loan spell at Championship side Stoke City ahead of Saturday's visit of Portsmouth. Riggott, 27, was in Stoke's squad for their promotion-deciding home game with Leicester on Sunday but will now rejoin his Boro team-mates. Simi Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 That's a shame, I was looking forward to singing Derby Reject! Yeah, I'm sure Derby really wanted rid of him.
Bryn Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 From what I can gather from Stoke fans, he was good but not amazing and they have cover.
Fat Ron Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 That's a shame, I was looking forward to singing Derby Reject! Still can, we have Oakley and Howard
Dames Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 Who ever will replace him will still have Howard beaten for pace and ariel ability.
Jack Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 This was a blessing, Riggot scored against Pompey today. That goal could of been against us
