Especially when you think how many utterly shit sitcoms from America that run and run for seasons. Still if they do make the film, it might just about be the best thing ever, and you can bet it won't stink like the simpsons film did. I've just been watching the episode where Tobias is Mrs Featherbottom, and tries to float off the landing with the umbrella
General Smuts Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 fooking hilarious. I caught an episode by accident on tv one night and it turned out to be the very first episode, i went and watch every episode back to back after that. Quality. Check out 30 Rock aswell - similar type of humour and hilarious also.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 I think Arrested Development is probably the cleversest, wittiest and and funiest thing America has ever produced (which is why I have all three seasons on DVD). Michael Cera and David Cross are both brilliant in it but Will Arnett is fantastic as Gob. I love it because the humour is sometimes so subtle that the episodes need to be watched more than once to pick up on all the funniest moments. It also benefits from not having a laughter track as well, unlike shocking American comedies like Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends.

frenzal Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 It's class,only seen the first season but Buster alone makes it worth watching. I never understand why the few good progammes left on TV don't get a better slot, it's no wonder most people don't know about them. The BBC always showed this & Family Guy late at night, Channel 4 only show Curb Your Enthusiasm on More4 and Channel 5 never gave a great slot to The Shield (which is awesome).
