Ultra Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Holloway is poison for our club. He may noy be the only reason we've sunk to the third division, but he has to bear a lot of the responsibility.
Matt Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I was just thinking, If we could go back 6 months, Appoint Warnock, Appoint Ince, Appoint Dowie...Appoint fecking Alex Ferguson, fair enough one/a few/all of the may keep us up but I don't think many of those managers could have done that much better, At the end of the day it's the same shite players they'll have to manage. I'll never forget a quote made on here; "Ian Holloway goes on Ready Steady Cook he gets given a bag of shite to cook and make a meal with, Gordon Ramsey goes on Ready Steady Cook he also get given a bag of shite to cook and make a meal out of, No matter how good either of them are the food is still gonna taste like shite" This is how I see Leicester City Football Club and the Leicester team.
DB11 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 read it properly mate1 step backwards to take 2 steps forwards He did read it properly He was asking you have you ever heard of that phrase?
AyewJoking Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Dont worry Holloway, I for one am not cursing you. You arent even on my radar. Thanks for adding to our already mediocre history. Please resign before you are fired.
mitch11 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 read it properly mate1 step backwards to take 2 steps forwards yes i did, but we've been taking alot of steps backwards in the past few years and im still waiting for them 2 fukers forward
Darkzzz_ Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 You know what, this is a forum, brendon was having his say, just respect his views, its not the time to get at each other, i personally dont hold Ollie to the sword.... I dont think anyone would have saved us at the stage he came in, and thats is my opinion, hence we will never know the answer to that.... I have been thinking, looking at some of the big teams that have dropped, we can bounce back.... I would possibly keep Ollie, he says he holds himself responsible, well let him sort it out!!

Please resign before you are fired. As if he's gonna say no to a massive payoff, which may mean he'll never have to work again. He has as much integrity as he does tactical awareness (ie NONE..)
brendan Posted 4 May 2008 Author Posted 4 May 2008 how fickle are leicester fans becoming, we are where we are because of all connected with the club over the past season, not just ian holloway. we aren't guna be in the prem for a good 5 yrs get used to it and back your club to get there by getting a season ticket and supporting the club, manager and players really pisses me off, if you think you can do a better job i'm sure milan would have called you sort yourselves out

Strange how many teams were in a worse position than us when changing manager, and yet stayed up! There really can be NO more excuses for him. It's a question of when, not if, he will leave.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Holloway has failed, simple as. He's had his chance and blown it big time. Do you really give a player his debut in the crucial last game? And play Howard as a deep forward? And persist with Barry Hayles for so long when he's not putting one pass to a Leicester player? And only start getting the team to attack when Southampton are winning? And throw McAuley up? And chuck on a sub in injury time? The list goes on (and that's just on the last game). I have never been a Holloway hater and was prepared to give him a fair crack. Obviously, as a Leicester fan I wanted him to do well and repeat what he did with Plymouth (and more). I wanted to believe his after-match and pre-match talks about giving things a real go. I want to have a manager we can keep for a while to build things. But he just has not done it. Strange team selections, a fascination with being in the media spotlight and complete inability to motivate (not to mention an abysmal results record) should only mean one thing. No other club would keep a manager on with that record.

Sort it out!!! are you on fooking drugs?? need to stick with holloway?? am i missing something? he aint got the balls to make changes, he sticks with his friends as oposed to playing the best players. he plays our best player out of postion for 28 games cause he dont like him, he plays him upfront and he scores. today he played for a draw and hopedsouthampton didnt win. he fuked it p and he has to go.

I am phoning up on tuesday to buy myself a season ticket. Sort it out!!! Thats the dumbest thing you have ever said this man has put us where we are in 5 half months he has done f--k all to improve the position of the club. The general idea by MM when he came to the club was to take it forward not f--king backwards.Whats his record to date 20 odd league points from about 32 games.lets get a new new man in with some tactical knowledge of the game get rid of some of the underchieving players and make a complete fresh start. A new league a new begining.

It's a question of when, not if, he will leave. I am not defending Ollie at all, he has let us down, i cant say that i lay all the blame on his door, there is a long list of things that have contibuted to this clubs demise but we could be here all night.... Whilst i agree with your comments about the teams, around us that were in trouble, they were all able to do one thing that we could not do,score goals!!
Dr The Singh Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Ollie has to go, today the performance of the club and manager summed it up....'simply not good enough'!!!
