Webbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 People are saying that we shouldn't be arrogant. With respect, that's exactly what we should be. We should be the Man U of that division. Man U don't turn up at Derby County and feel embarrassed about being there, they know they're a better team with better players and they set out to win. We shouldn't be showing respect to the likes of Hereford United, we should annihilate them. I'm not saying that we will walk this league, but if we start thinking that we are just another team, then that is what we'll end up as.

We should use our, ahem, "status" to good effect. Be nice to the family when they turn up but make bloody sure they see the new conservatory. Or something like that. Taking a good away support will also help.

We should be ruthless in the way we take on this division. I think we do need to be chastened as a club though, and must learn from and respect the situation we're in. But yeah, with respect to the other 23 clubs, I think a bit of ruthless arrogance might be a decent attitude to take.

Very true but after this season we haven't got a lot to be arrogant about have we. If we start the season with a ten game winning streak then maybe that would be a good attitude to have but if we start like we have the last 4 seasons then we won't be going anywhere.
