Asha Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 If Leeds go up by play-offs, where's the big teams to stop us going straight up? I'm still depressed aswell, but it's a point to bear in mind.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Nope tis true its not about the big teams but lets face it we have been practicing hoofball all season.
Tevez Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Someone pointed out earlier that everytime a team plays Leicester it's going to be there cup final. I just hope we get the right players and get out of this mess asap!
Brainy Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I see one of the teams from League 2 making some kind of challenge. Doncaster, Carlisle, perhaps Southend. I really cant see much competition.
Finchy Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 MK Dons will be a force next season i think. It's gonna be solid to get out of this league, lets just hope we can do a Man City and come back much stronger.

Agreed it is going to be very dificult to get out of the division, we need to emulate what Leeds did at the start of the season!
Fox You Forest Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I have already started praying for a Leicester City v Coalville Town FA Cup first round.
Uncle Albert Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Leicester for the double next season. Is it to early?

Yes, and I'm sure Forest thought exactly the same. It's going to be a long, hard season which we can't take for granted.
Joe. Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 It's not going to be easy but I think we can pull it off one way or another.
Staf Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Like somone said we are everyones cup final it will be so tough but for some strange reason i think we can do it next season
The Stig Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 We may be our own worst enemy. If I were to have to put money on it, I would bet on us not going up for at least two years. God I'm depressed.

purpleronnie Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 God I hope all the muppets who thought we'd win the championship this year assume we'll win league one.

Yea it only took them arsewipes 3 years to get out of the division.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Ive said this in other threads, teams WILL raise their games against us...we need to rebuild and get a winning mentality...If i was offered a playoff finish for next season, I would take it.
vanfox12 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 God I hope all the muppets who thought we'd win the championship this year assume we'll win league one. If we constantly think we are better than the teams we play in league one next season and by that i mean both players and fans then we will struggle but if we go about it the right way then we can get back up. Mind you if Mandaric can get the right man and get 2 decent strikers to score goals then i can't see why not but only time will tell if that happens.
somebum Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Hold on, lets not be arrogant about this. Didn't we have the same attitude in the Championship? That we are better than anybody else, we are such a big club, etc? How arrogant of us to assume we are going to walk the league! We'll be doing well if we finished in the top 10.
Forest_Fan Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Yea it only took them arsewipes 3 years to get out of the division. that would be because we didn't what we should have done. (that and Megson signed a bunch of muppets on big wages who were a waste of time)

Listen to this chap, he's making sense.
Dr The Singh Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Hold on, lets not be arrogant about this. Didn't we have the same attitude in the Championship? AGreed, let's not assume anything, it will be very tough for us to get promotion!!
somebum Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 This is our problem Singh, we beat WBA away 4-1 and all of a sudden 'the lads are back' - only to get stuffed next week. City have done that for years now, but under Ollie it has got worse.
