Will We Get Refs Like This In League 1

I will tell you now, the refereeing standard is only going to get worse.

Probably. But you never know, they can't be much worse than the jokers in the championship, and we might get some good up and coming referees, rather than washed up premiership referees like Mike Dean.

There might be a return to the Walkers for Uriah Rennie aswell now :D:unsure:

Don't get your hopes up.

I've probably seen about five decent ones this season. The rest are utter ****wits who won't let a game flow or think we've come to watch their antics rather than the teams. The linesmen are however the most irritating thing about officials in this league- they don't have a clue, so they just follow the referee's decision or give the ball to the defending team.

You guys who are saying the standard will only get worse...

The Referees we have had in the Championship are "Football League Referees". The Football League is the Championship, League One and League Two.

Any Referee could be appointed to any game in the Football League so it really doesn't mean we'll get a different standard of Refereeing.

Yes, the same as in the Premiership, where the best teams get the ''best'' refs.

Basically, the more high profile, the more likely they are to referee at a higher standard.
