sdb Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 just saw this come up on bbc site... didn't this happen 2 days ago?? or is it just the news that he was sacked rather than he left (which everyone expected to happen anyway...after he said he'd leave at the end of the season a few months ago!!)

He'd left but I don't think it had been confirmed because they were finalizing details for his compensation package.
lildave3 Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 We knew this a long while back. Fully expect Mr. Mourinho to take over there and Mancini to goto Chelsea now.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 May 2008 Posted 29 May 2008 Mourinho can't lose if he goes to Inter. All he needs to do is continue the work of Mancini, and will have plenty of cash to splash around on new sigings. The only thing that could stop him would be an improvement in the likes of Juve or Roma. And speaking of Serie A, did anyone else chuckle when they spotted that AC Milan had missed out on the Champions League?
