Guest Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Why not a kickabout somewhere more central, like at Vickeh Park?
General Smuts Posted 31 May 2008 Author Posted 31 May 2008 Why not a kickabout somewhere more central, like at Vickeh Park? Im not really bothered about venue either its all up for discussion, i just want a kickabout and seeing as though i cannae make any of these by the looks of things i thought id arrange one ... kinda. And make it as close to me as possible.
C-man Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Regent College, near Vicky Park, still have their goalposts up and the pitch isn't in bad nick. It may be trespass but I've played a full 11-a-side match there this week, whilst people were at the college, and nothing was said.
Flynny Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Regent College, near Vicky Park, still have their goalposts up and the pitch isn't in bad nick. It may be trespass but I've played a full 11-a-side match there this week, whilst people were at the college, and nothing was said. I was just about to post that. God knows how we got away with it though.
Tomassi Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 they never say ote at regent college do they still have the nets in the goals?
Koke Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Regent College, near Vicky Park, still have their goalposts up and the pitch isn't in bad nick. It may be trespass but I've played a full 11-a-side match there this week, whilst people were at the college, and nothing was said. I played there the other week. And also, I know a bunch of Somalis who play there every week, and they've been doing for that for years now. Nothing has ever been said to them. So its all good I assume. It has its goal posts which is nice, but the pitch though was in dire state last I saw it. I'm up for a kick-about though.
Scow Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Why not a kickabout somewhere more central, like at Vickeh Park? Makes a lot more sense.
C-man Posted 1 June 2008 Posted 1 June 2008 they never say ote at regent collegedo they still have the nets in the goals? Nah they don't have the nets up.
General Smuts Posted 6 June 2008 Author Posted 6 June 2008 Nah they don't have the nets up. Went past Regent College today and there were people playing there without any hassle but they dint have any nets up. People still interested with any old random kickabout somewhere in Leicester next satdee?
General Smuts Posted 8 June 2008 Author Posted 8 June 2008 Ive decided everyones playing on Groby Field. If anyone wants picking up and dropping off at St Magarets im willing to do so. Anyone who fancies it my mates and i and LD3 and Joe (im sure) will be on the Groby College Fields enjoying a frivolous kick about and knowing me booze up. All are welcome, don't be shy. 3pm (ish) June 14th GCC Fields.
Scow Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 I cannae make it I'm afraid. I've somehow been selected to play in 5-a-side tournament despite not being able to play football. Then I'm getting pissed later, which is obviously surprising.
AmericanScott Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Yeah i'm down for this! How many is coming so far?
C-man Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 I doubt I'll be there, if it was at Regent I'd definitely go.
lildave3 Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 I doubt I'll be there, if it was at Regent I'd definitely go. Let down.
