( if it's true) i saw his reply , and it was a bit abusive but not particularly unusual for FT , and it was quite rightly soon deleted Surely this and a reminder of the rules would have been enough ? He's a colourful and controversial poster , but surely not really a danger to anyone is he ? Forums such as this need the likes of David to keep it thriving , or does everyone want a forum full of nodding dogs ? I say this even after he's insulted me a few times , but surely we ain't that flippin thin skinned are we ?

Yes I think it does ,In the same way it needs you Dags Do you really want a forum in total agreement on every issue ? i assure you it wouldn't be worth reading Don't you want any form of dissent ? As I've said many times , I very rarely agree with him , but so fookin what ? That's maybe what we need, because none of us have all the answers , and maybe he may be right now and again He's entitled to his views ,and when he gets abused , he tends to retaliate , as we all do , You surely must know that on occasions you too can be controversial and quite often abusive , but we don't want you banned for it. because most of us know that you are that way inclined . I hope most of us want you to keep posting regardless of disagreements or alternative points of view. But sorry , I feel the same about the caveman and I want to think he can post his viewpoint too, regardless of whether or not it receives universal approval from the masses .

Hi Zing, Whilst i agree with your sentiments, and have commented over on the David the Caveman thread, it's a little unfair to compare apples and pears - Dags & DTC. Dags at least is not trying deliberately to be antagonising in the majority of his posts right down to his name. It does get tiresome when you are trying to live up to your name, by posting misogynistic, right wing, rape, & gay jokes made to incite argument for your own amusement rather than doing so ironically to incite a debate right or wrongly. If he occasionally let the veil down to reveal he was playing up to his internet persona then fair enough, but I'd say due to his relentlessness, and aggressiveness which was prompting other posters to round on him, a negative and pack mentality was developing. This forum should be all about the love

No thanks , it's not for me , and I appreciate what the mods do and don't want to come across as being critical of them It was just my opinion about David the Caveman and maybe I haven't seen the whole picture. I think I'll concentrate on learning how to compose Haiku for the time being , it's what all the trendy dudes are doing now . JadeFalcon for mod !!
