Hit and Run Shocker.

Unbelievable when an old man is laying in the middle of the road, and he just gets ignored.

THIS is the horrifying moment a 78-year-old man is tossed in the air like a rag doll by a hit-and-run driver.

Angel Arce Torres flew head-over-heels as he was struck by the heartless driver – then lay in a heap as scores of cars zoomed by him.

The pictures show one driver stopping briefly, but unbelievably then pulling away again.

Incredibly, one man on a scooter slowly circles the old man before zipping off too.

He was eventually helped after a police car responding to an unrelated call drove by the incident in the US.

Today, the victim is in a critical condition in Hartford Hospital, Connecticut

I saw this, everyone who drove past or walked past should be ashamed of themselves. Disgusting, just makes you think whether the sort of thing would happen in this country.

I didn't realise there was a thread about this, first I saw of it was in the Sun.

Shocking how people stopped to take photos but didn't stop to help the bloke. Disgusting how the driver just carried on although, the bloke shouldn't have been trying to cross. Still shocking though.

I only live an hour away from Hartford so obviously this has been a huge story on the local news here, and seeing that video just makes me wonder how these people can live with themselves.

The possible ways the guy would've been dealt with on a street in the UK:

Happy-slapped?

Drawn on?

Ticketed?
