I've been absent from the mothership for just over 5 years now, I spent the first 3 and a half years pining for it but I actually don't miss it at all now. I've learned to appreciate where I live now and the benefits of living there. That's not to say I don't love Leicester, I'm proud to say I'm from there but enough with the roadworks already!
