MONreborn Posted 14 June 2008 Posted 14 June 2008 I've got it on good authority that Nigel Worthington will be interviewed/ has been, and also, Paul Ince was interviewed informally and decided not to take the job. We should of stuck with him in the first place, certainly better then Gregory.
Jimmy Posted 14 June 2008 Posted 14 June 2008 Worthington decided not to stay at the time and i can't see him leaving the NI job now for us
MONreborn Posted 14 June 2008 Author Posted 14 June 2008 If only... I think it's possible he will come to us, what a plank not getting him and going for Allen. ( although Allen would have kept us up for sure) By the Way, David Davies, principled or an attention seeker?

It was a big mistake going for Martin Allen in the first place.

Not that I necessarily agree with the MONReborn but hardly any of them were in the team(s) that got us relegated.

I can see your point, but the signings that were made by Allen contributed to our downfall. I'm not saying it was totally Allens fault but he didn't help matters either. There's no proof that Allen would've kept us up.

Fox You Forest Posted 14 June 2008 Posted 14 June 2008 Agreed 100% - there is no proof that anyone would have kept us up. Not even Viagra could have kept us up.
lookwhaticando Posted 14 June 2008 Posted 14 June 2008 Not even Viagra could have kept us up. If Viagra keeps you up for more than 4 hours, you're supposed to go see the doctor. Easy to see why Viagra wasn't up to the task... we had a hard time scoring every four hours.
MONreborn Posted 15 June 2008 Author Posted 15 June 2008 Here. I had heard it from one of the medical staff at the club, although this makes me think there is actually something in it!

It was a big mistake going for Martin Allen in the first place. It was a mistake getting Allen, I agree. But we played so much better in the three League games he was here, compared to the rest of the season. We hammered Blackpool, not seen us create that many chances in any other game this season. Palace we were very unlucky, and Watford was our best performance of the season, I am certain we would not have been anywhere near relegation. All hypothetical now tough... Now we can sing 'where were you when we were shit' whenever the stadiums full
