Lovejoy Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 QPR manager Iain Dowie is on the verge of being sacked after a row with owner Flavio Briatore over the proposed transfer of an unnamed player from the Middle East. (The Times) Linkage
dandannieldanok Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 I expect to see him appointed by Mandaric sometime during this season.
Lovejoy Posted 6 August 2008 Author Posted 6 August 2008 I think Leicester and QPR may engage in a gargantuan struglle to see who can appoint the most managers in one season . My money's on Mandaric!
Durnerz Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 He was going to be my bet for first dismissal of the season, regretting not going to the bookies now...
Guest Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 This has Hossein Kaebi written all over it. Another youtube influenced purchase. Nice I did have to laugh when I read about this. Poor old Dowie, he thought he'd escaped one mad owner only to end up with another
Thracian Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 I expect to see him appointed by Mandaric sometime during this season. Pearson out!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 He was going to be my bet for first dismissal of the season, regretting not going to the bookies now... I went to a tutorial in Derby today. Speaking to my mate who's a fan of the sheep, reckons Jewell is walking on thin ice already. Not sure if that's wishful thinking on his part though as he cannot stand Jewell (thinks he's a crap manager). *Appeared* to quite genuine though.
Corky Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Briatore is a richer, Italian version of Milan Mandaric. At a less glamourous club though
