To us you are though.

May I ask why you are on here then? I wouldn't go on a Rochdale forum, because they are insignificant to me, with the greatest of respect to them. I don't understand it. Maybe it's just me :dunno:

I live in Leicester and therefore I hear a lot about them and like to keep myself fairly up to date with how you lot are doing as it's what most of my mates talk about.

To Derby as a club, you are insignificant to them, that's all.

Ok, fair enough.

As much as it pains me to say so, Joely is correct. Forest and Derby are eachother's main rivals, yes of course they like to beat us, but I reckon we get far more pleasure from it to be honest. We are in a position where we have no real rivals, at least at local level. Coventry would far prefer to beat Villa than ourselves, although in turn Villa don't care about them. I'm not really all that bothered about Derby, Forest or Coventry. Yeah, I do get perhaps a little extra satisfaction from beating them than other sides, but I want us to beat everybody.

Back to the original thread though, I thought that we actually played well in the second half. We were absolutly dire in the first half and deserved to be down by at least one goal and were lucky it wasn't two or three. In fairness to us though, we came out and actually fought in the second half and we got a deserved goal. It was a bit lucky in the sense of how it arrived but you just accept those things in football and IMO we were unlucky not to go on and get a winner. I'd have took 1-1 against Bristol before the game so I'm pretty happy with the result. Think we'll beat Southampton at PP next week.

Same here really. It's nice to beat those sides, but then again it's nice to beat anyone.

I prefer beating you to beating Forest mainly because of where I live but to the majority of Rams fans, it's the other way around. That's not to say I don't mind losing to Forest because I hate the wankers!

Your an idiot.

Thank you.

So who the hell are we meant to rival! >_<

Anyway, I bet all of you saying that I'm a t8at and all that never actually go to any games/never sing at the games or enjoy yourselves!

WE HATE DERBY AND WE HATE DERBY, WE HATE DERBY AND WE HATE DERBY, WE ARE THE DERBY HATERS!

And ALWAYS S*IT ON THE RED SIDE OF TRENT, DER DER DER DER DER DERDER

WE ALL HATE COVSCUM

So what is the 'significance' in singing them if it is 'insignificant'

Trouble is, most Leicester fans have trouble with dealing with the fact that neither Forest or Derby hate us more than they do each other...

Having a fierce local rival is not the main reason to support a club. I support City because I was born in Leicester, and it is in my blood after years of following them, not because it gives me an opportunity to hate other teams.

Winning nearly every week :fc:

They still won't be capable of that :giggle:

Neither were we in that league. Derby will win more games than we did last season.

I see Coventry as a main rival as I live in a CV postcode as much I hate to admit it...Although after admitting that I state that I live on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border, If you walk to the bottom of my garden I reckon your in Leicestershire (Hinckley) - I like to think so anyway!

TBH a few years ago I didn't hate Coventry that much but in recent years i've become quite hateful of Coventry.

I've always hated Villa (Because most people around me support Villa over Coventry)

Derby and Forest I really have no problem with, As my boss is a Derby fan we have our banter and he was the one of the first to 'congratulate' us on our relegation so I am quite bitter, hateful towards him and Derby, I'm enjoying Derby's current form and winding him up.
