The bloke was a nice guy aswell, you could tell he was touch by these people's problems and even when he was working. He always had a smile on his face. Also Glasgow a big shit hole.

Love the program, gets me emotional.

Anyone else watch it?

Nope.

If you have the cash and want to be a philanthropist then why the shit do you need to massage your ego by doing it on national television?

They are cocks.

There's a couple near us who won a bit on the lottery, you won't see them in the paper or the tele but they do shedloads for people who deserve a better life.

Moreover, the program gives people the impression that you can only help people with cash, and that's bollocks. Volunteer agencies are crying out for people to help in any capacity to make people's lives better...but no one gives a shit. No one volunteers their time.

Programs like this make me puke.

You're my brother from a different mother.

whos dad's the real one? hopefully it's some self made millionaire, like the one the other week who'd made his money out of offering loans, with massive interest rates, to people on low incomes and/or bad credit ratings then chucked some crumbs from his table down to the plebs......he just gives and gives; what a guy!

I wouldn't say it was a ego thing with this guy, he wanted to help people and i'm sure them people are glad for his help.

to be fair to ash17lcfc, i film myself everytime i put my change in the nspcc tin next to the till, they're all on youtube, but it's not an ego thing, i wouldn't care if i never filmed another one, i do it for the kids,

here's some money; conscience appeased

Good job not everyone who gives money doesn't have to pass the FoxesTalk sainthood test.

I didn't watch the programme but who knows why the guy agreed to be filmed? He might have been persuaded that going on television might encourage others to do something similar.

On the other hand he might just have wanted to kid people he was a nice guy. "Grin-and-Blair-It" made that sort of thing an art form for years while he hungrily climbed aboard the gravy train. What's the big deal?

If you were sexier than wife#1 (and more womanly) then I'd be proposing a sensuous and hot affair.

I suggest watching the programs before making a post about them - it might help to inform your opinion.
