Manager based?

Lets say 6 players (could more more/less) are given a team to "own". Drivers are given market values, and teams have budgets, reflective of the actual teams bugdets, of which they can buy upgrades too. The managers have to sign a player to drive for them.

I've had a go at Real Life Batracer (Which is similar to this) and it's quite good, if a little complicated.

I thought I'd suggest it seeing as we seem to have the same players over the last 3 seasons, and whilst this allows new players to join, it'd make things a bit more interesting!

Just a thought anyway, and some people may have ways to improve it, or some might hate it completly!

Yeah, and we'd be starting fresh from '86 as well so it could run over a number of season with the new sets out.

If anyone has anything to add to my original plans, I'd love to hear 'em! :thumbup:

Can't we start from 1997 instead, F186 was dull and unpopular last time

World Records - people have lost their WR's in the past for not being active...

If you don't have a public game open you won't have a Ranking...I've never heard of someone loosing records though.

Anyway, open a public game so the clan moves up ;):bounce:

Put your name down to manage a team, this will include the team that you manage in other series. Obviosuly some teams aren't in every series, which will give other people a chance to manage ;)

I'll work out budgets and stuff later :thumbup:

Are we all going to be given a value or something?

Yeah all teams get a budget based on their performance for that actual season, which is then carried onto the next series. There might be changes in budget if a team recieved a huge boost in Budget from one real season to the next I.e Benneton to Renault, Toyota & Bar to Honda.

Each driver will get a price tag based on their WR and previous Formula Foxestalk results, which will flutuate each season. New drivers will be free. And you could also sell your team, i guess...

Thats my plan anyway! :thumbup:

What series are we doing next, and what car was 3rd best then?

You don't have to be a manager! :whistle:

Any yeah BMW are the 3rd best team, but they won't figure in 86, 97, 99 etc.. :thumbup:
