It will probably cost an arm and a leg when it first comes out though and i'm sure it will have a whole host of faults as well but it does look an impressive specimen.

I don't think ANY Nokia's have a decent battery life, I have always had Nokia's and the battery life has been crap on all, currently have LG Viewty, whilst it's the worst phone I have ever had the battery life is good!
allard7 Posted 17 September 2008 Posted 17 September 2008 My contract is up soon and i niped inot the 3 shop in lough and i asked them what phones are coming out soon, and they said the n96, aparntly its the same as the n95 but with something silly like 16gb memory and some extra stuff....

I've got that LG one too, not really had any problems with it other than the fact that the camera isn't fantastic. Might have to upgrade soon myself so if anybody does get an N96 let us know what you think cos it looks like a sweet bit of kit

Any phone which has features you can't ****ing use because of the shockingly shite battery may as well not bother with the features. On top of that the GPS rarely picks up a bastard signal if the day has a 'Y' in it, the browser closes whenever it feels like and the slide motion goes tits up after three months use. In short, I have grown to dislike the little bastard a lot and resent being tied to a sodding 18 month contract - never again. A great concept but a true example of form over function. Carl says look at this.... I's seen it in T3 last month. My contract is up in 6 months. It will be mine. Oh yes. Probably. Unless something better crops up.

Carl says the Samsung is good. I beg to differ, from the mutterings he utters. He has said that HTC has an HD handset, but can't remember the model.

I can't wait for this honeymoon period to be over, brilliant. I listen to music on mine and it lasts me about 30 hours, especially since I updated it. It's only gone dead on me twice in 2 months. In fairness you have to tell it not to do ANYTHING you haven't asked it to to make it last that long though. I think in theory the better battery out of the black N95 works in it, but in practice it voids your warranty I think. I'm still tempted.
