The People's Hero Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 See I reckon you're about an 8 or a 9 Maybe a 9 and a half in a few beers time
Tabou Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 See I reckon you're about an 8 or a 9Maybe a 9 and a half in a few beers time I pictured a rainbow you held it in your hands I had flashes but you saw the plan I wandered out in the world for years while you just stayed in your room I saw the crescent you saw the whole of the moon! The whole of the moon! You were there at the turnstiles with the wind at your heels You stretched for the stars and you know how it feels To reach too high too far Too soon you saw the whole of the moon!
General Smuts Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 I saw this thing on ITV the other week, Said, that if she played with her hair, she's probably keen She's playin with her hair, well regularly, So i reckon i could well be in.

Bert Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 She said meet me at the gates Don't be late, but pretty soon the day came for change And I was glad she never walked away So I'm choosing what to wear, doing my hair with an hour to spare When my life went pear, she'd been there with a thick stare Big wheel climed to the top, geezer scares bounced off Standing at the top of this huge mountain, smiling and shouting Spring flowers sprouting, not one inch of doubt in my mind as I reached the gates Came round the corner at a rate Risked her love but I'm gonna set things straight Never again am I gonna be late Never again am I gonna be late Never again am I gonna be late

Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 I remember when me and my mate bought Original Pirate Material when we were at uni and stuck it on the stereo when we got back. The way it starts with Turn The Page, it sounded like a real event. Total one-off. Inspired me to put it on. What an album.

Even though there has been mass radio play of some of his 'hits' - they all still remain fresh. I never saw the Streets as my sort of thing - but he is fantastic.

I think original pirate material is one of the best post-2000 albums. Although I think AGDCFF and whatever his new one is are shiiiite. Ps- What are ou doing up this early on a Satdeh TPH?

Making breakfast for me and the missus, cricket tea for the cricket team and an alternative cricket tea for myself and best friend. The difference in quality is staggering. I also have bought a card for my mum's birthday, been to the office and finished off some work I should have done yesterday, got someone clamped and cleared out my loft. The sausages for breakfast are now in the oven so I'm settling down with a glass of cherryade and an episode of holiday showdown I've actually seen already.

That's a fookin lot of stuff for 10.30m on a Saturday. I woke up at 7am, with a proper Bitter hang over, stumbled into the shower drove myself to work whilst eating a pre-packed Co-op BLT sandwich (50% extraa free!). I arrived at work late. Gate was lock. Had to park a bloody mile away and had a mission to get here. Since being here, I have turned the radio on, been on here and considered making a coffee. Prooooductive.

After this sausage sarnie, I need to make the rest of the cricket tea, then go and play cricket and get very, very drunk. Do you work Saturday mornings normally?

Every other Saturday. All day. Or every home game, depends on your view point. I mostly spend the whole day on here, facebook and msn. I do occasionally have a mid afternoon snooze.
