syston_fox Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 WEll for those who went to match via fox travel last night what was ur opinion.And views to this i thought it was an interesting decision of the said director.asking for the fans views and ideas on what needs to be improved and changed at the club.what do others think regarding this It was nice to see someone from high up in the club taking the time out to travel with the fans actually even if he didnt travel back with us He made his way up and down the coach stopping to introduce himself and just chat with the fans. He made some interesting comments about the last few managers and he seemed genuinely excited about what was going on at the club and firmly believes that Nigel Pearson is the best manager we've had by far since the days of MON. He also spoke highly of Milan and how he does put a lot of thought into the managerial appointments and asks for everyones honest opinion before picking what he believes to be the right man.

I asked him why you can't watch the players train this season at the training ground and he said some fans were mucking around and ran on the pitch so Pearson has barred fans from coming. He said he will mention it to him and see if they can do something about it. Many fans were saying they don't want Chelsea dagger being played, and he said what music shall be played, Kasabian? Also he was discussing swapping the kop and family stand or moving the away fans next to the kop to help the atmosphere. Seemed like a nice man who knew alot and cared about the club. Someone asked him why we got rid of Hume and he said Hume wouldn't take us anywhere, he didn't seem bothered that Hume went.
