im not of the opinion that wigan dont deserve to go up , and of course there is still a way to go yet but the league table does not lie . whoever finish in the top 2 DESERVE to go up . in my personal opinion i still belive that will be sunderland and ipswich

I tend to agree. If Wigan get promotion then fair play to them. They may not have the best attendance but, y'know, so what.

The figures quoted aren't really that much to spend on a Championship side, it's not like they've bought their way into a possible promotion position. If they get into the Premiership then it's because the manager has done a good job and the team have played well.

I think that maybe some of the comments in this thread do not portray the posters true feeling about Wigan AFC, but are more a reaction to your attitude toward Leicester.

Now, I know many of your comments in this thread have been a reaction to other's criticism but maybe if you toned down the anti-LCFC comments then you'd get a more positive response.

Correct me if im wrong but I think in Wigan Rugby takes centre stage above football, I doubt there are that many people in Wigan so its little wonder the football attendances are crap.

well, we have a 25000 seater stadium and most of the prem clubs (if not all) have more than that

all the dead heads in wigan will come out to watch us in the prem

this season we have attracted crowds of 17k against ipswich and leeds in the championship with leeds bring 5000 and ipswich 3000.

what crowds do fulham get? so being the worst in the prem IF we get there wont happen

we got 20800 against sunderland and most teams in the prem will bring support like sunderland did and thus we would have more home support because of the prem so i dont see where you're coming from...?

it wouldnt be a disaster if we dont go up, as we would come back stronger like this season
