Alexandra as ever was amazing and Laura did well... not fantastically though. Rachel, who I've always said I liked, was poor today and that with going first was very bad for her... Austin shouldn't have gone at all and even I will admit I'm shocked that Rachel beat him and stayed in... Oh well... on to next week... Mariah fooking Carrie (sp?) week... dear lord. Danny, JLS and that shite Irish thing will have a tough time with that...

Last week Daniel survives against Scott, not for being the better singer but on the basis of his better "sob factor" (his story being that his wife had died in child birth) This week ex con and druggie Rachel ("if anyone deserves a second chance it's this girl") beats a far superior Austin in the sing off So its not about singing ability but about who has suffered the greatest hardship in life I can't sing a note but I'm going to enter next year. I'll tell them that my whole family got wiped out in a coach crash on the way to support me in the auditions. Putting a fiver on myself to make the final three.
