If everyone just 'puts it down to experience' in 10 years time we'll still be getting hassle for such heinous crimes as drinking, singing, standing, swearing and walking to the ground in a group of lads.

If that's the case in 10 years time be thankful that drinking alcohol has not been banned and you're only getting "hassle".
