Those waterfall ones are brilliant Mikey.

Shame about the work situation and although it's not much consolation, it's a load of bollocks if you ask me.

For something like photography you really shouldn't need a qualification and as someone else said, why they value that over an actual portfolio is mad.

Hope you get something soon mate.

As lame as it might sound mate, how about just offer to do sporting photography for local junior teams as a side job? I know I'd love for someone to take quality shots over here, and the get paid a fair bit aswell.

Cheers again to everyone that has commented on the photos. Really is much appreciated.

ACF that's a good idea actually mate, just need a lense though that zooms better as the one i currently use is just the standard one that came with the camera.

They are top, the waterfall ones look crazy!! The water doesn't even look real. Class photography that...

Mr T, do you sell your pics? Do you have them uploaded to a website? If so, is it easy to do, and does it pay?? Cheers pal.

Thank you mate. :)

I have sold some in the past but then i felt a bit guilty afterwards as obviously i'm not a professional. So what i do now is, if someone wants a shoot somewhere, all i'll ask for is the price of petrol to and from the place and for the printing costs. But money is getting tight at the moment as i am out of work so may have to start charging. haha

I did a shoot for my sisters friend last year of her new born baby and made £60 for about 2 hours work. I actually asked for less but they gave me more. :D

Very good, looks beautiful doesnt it?

Yep it was well nice. All taken with my new camera. Still getting used to it and discovering things. I'm possibly heading to Bradgate Park later on to where the war memorial and old john are for some sunset shots. :)

Thank you mate, much appreciated. :)

A 55-200 should do alright for it I reckon, you don't want to be too far from the action, and it's flexible. This is with me presuming you got an 18-55 lense?

What camera do you use be-tee-dub?

Yeah it's just being able to afford stuff at the moment. Finances are a bit too tight for my liking. lol

I use a Canon EOS 55OD. Got it about a month and a half ago. Love it.

I seeeeee. Is it just around the glare of the sun on yours?

Indeed, yes. I usually take multiple shots of everything, but the one time i don't i got that. Typical. lol
