Posh Pre-Match Thread

That's the only thing that's been annoying me a bit (not from you, just some things I've read), personally I think it's a fair allocation. Welcome to the board, every 'Boro fan we've had on here has been sound as a pound

No Posh fans I know of have moaned they don't have a ticket and I think that the 3,000 allocation is a very decent amount. However I know a fair few that have tickets in the home end.

After the shite we went through at Stoke on the final day when we went down, we know all about unfair allocations, and from what I can see you have no case whatsoever. We only been allowed 3k by Leeds on boxing day and that in a 42k capacity. Are we moaning?

Given the amount of times i've read that on this thread so far....yes you are.

No shit, this is Peterborough, not fooking Real Madrid.

You're league 1 mate, I think you'll find that Posh have an above average following away from home, and with this being our most local game, with a piss easy rail link, against top of the league, on great form, on a Saturday, we're going to have the ability to take 5000+

And what... 4000 of those are part-timers ey? Judging by your away followings so far, you don't deserve anymore than the 3000 we've given you, simple as that.

We never had any clubs in the championship complaining about the allocations that they were given. Even Coventry - argueable their biggest game of the season.

Even Sheffield Wednesday didn't have the cheek to have a pop and that was a MASSIVE game, which sealed our fate.

Tunchev has marked the likes of Luca Toni...never mind Aaron Mclean put it that way.

He'll have to catch him first! I think McLean and CMS are a bit quicker than Luca Toni.

Whoever's arguing this for Posh, you really think we're going to move our season ticket holders for a few part-time oppo fans? Have a word.

That said, I remember being gutted that we were only allocated 7,000 for Blackburn away a few years ago. There were some unhappy chappies when that sold out.

TBH pal, the less of you at away games the better the support usually is.

I fully expect your end to be a shambles tomorrow.

We get much better support when we take 1.5k to Sheff united for example than coventry where 5k go and the part timers come out.

Less true of lower-league supporters though, surely? Not completely untrue I mean, just less so.

It's not really fair though. It's less than 10% of your ground.

You lot would be kicking up a right fuss if we gave you just 1300 at our place, and charged you £23 for the pleasure.

Could be worse, we could give you ZERO...but what kind of club would do that?...oh

We might well be kicking up a fuss, but we've had away attendances that merit a bit more than 1300. We even managed 1100 to Carlisle, and we bring in 19000 fans on average to home games. Your average attendance is just under 7000. You have 3000 tickets and you think it's unfair that we've only given enough tickets for 43% of your average crowd? Forest is one of our most local games, with a piss easy rail link, if we play them on great form on a Saturday I doubt you'd find people moaning because if we only got 8500 seats. Couple that with the fact that it would be a smaller amount you've given other clubs, where as ours is the maximum we've given any club this season, or last. In fact, I think it's the maximum we give anyone since we had the stadium.

Oh, and for the record, using  makes you come across as an absolute smug helmet

It's all relative by the numbers taken. Thing is, a lot of these 3,000-strong lower-league supporters will support bigger teams first and foremost. A bit like me going to Forest when Northampton played there or Craig going to see Kettering or Alex going to see Lincoln or whatever. Doubt you get that much with Leicester.

lol Just a bit.

Tunch takes no prisoner. Hoping he if fit for tomorrows clash, as we need his calming presence at the back.

I am in the Family Stand tomorrow because the missus is bringing her God Daughter. :(

She is 3, is it just a case of her sitting on the missus lap because there was no option to buy a ticket for the damn child !!! lol

I am only kidding, I don't hate kids, I am rather excited for her.....

Her first Leicester City experience....

Best hope he doesn't crunch him in the box then because he can't reach him in time as Mclean goes round him

Oh stop being pathetic posh fans.

If you regulary all went to games . 1. You would be going and 2. You would have a bigger allocation.

Barry Frys a cock as well.

Only one of us on here is complaining about the allocation. I personaly think that 3,000+ Posh fans going anywhere the weekend before Christmas is a brilliant for us.

To be fair, I don't think they would. Not with the current segregation at the Walkers. I can't see us giving Leeds more than 3000, so it'll be the biggest away following of the season, so I can't see what Nickisposh is moaning about.

I hope she enjoys 3 points as well.

But you boys will be a tough one for us.

I still think we will just nick it though.

I am not even going to call it, far to close IMO

Biggest test so far for us this season IMO. We were taking by surprise by Millwall, lets hope LCFC have learn't from past mistakes.

Im quietly confident, however so far this season this is the only game (pre-match) I could see us losing.

out of interest forgetting this rubbish about away allocation.

Does anyone know an up to date figure as to what we are expecting or have already sold for posh game tomorrow?

No idea. I would imagine it to be around the 22-23K mark perhaps.
