What bothers me most about this game is, Ferguson will have their boys really fired up for this game. It is a local derby for them and without sounding patronising it isn't seen as one for us, which actually gives them the advantage. Leicester tend to hate Coventry more than they hate us and in recent years I think that's given us the edge on them and it's resulted in us pasting them about 6 times.

I hope Pearson has got our lads properly prepared for a battle, Peterborough have a lot of attacking prowess and I can see them coming at us like men possessed. We should use that to our advantage in the fact we are better against teams who come to The Walkers and attack us, it gives us more space to attack them. But without Tunchev we could come under a barrage of attacks and we need to be able to cope with that. Big game for our central midfield as well, they have got to be first to the 2nd balls and don't themselves be over-run.

I hope I can get back in time for this game as i'm away tomorrow night, 2 massive games for us in the next week.

Absolutely agree. I expect them to come at us from the off. Maybe we can spread the play and be able to attack slightly better than normal. I don't expect Peterborough to be cautious though, we are going to have to defend well if we want to win.

I think it's grown recently and the feeling's increasingly mutual as both clubs roll around in the murky surrounding of the lower reaches of the Championship and the top of League 1.

Cov don't have the Villa too worry about anymore, where's Forest are becoming increasingly a nothing mark for us and Derby well they're Derby.

But in the local paper, Verma's former club Redditch Utd are hopeful that a strong Foxes side will head over to the Valley Stadium in a pre-season friendly next summer.

What's your defence like? Much pace? Who's this Tunchev who might not be playing? From what people are saying it sounds like he'd be a big loss if he doesn't play. Our best defender is missing so it would even things up a bit.

Fergie has said Posh will go all out attack and i'm guessing you will too so it should be a good open game.

I don't know why people get so bitchy about 'part time fans', it is realistic that some people can't afford ST's and so pick the games they most want to go to. I don't think that makes someone less of a fan. It's certainly different to being a Man U 'fan' who has never been anywhere near Manchester. Correct. Redditch only get a couple of hundred at tops. Them and Bromsgrove have deep non-league histories and they're of course rivals. Moor Green and Solihull had do the same recently and it came off pretty well.

I don't think that makes someone less of a fan. It's certainly different to being a Man U 'fan' who has never been anywhere near Manchester. If people only want to go see the best games who can blame them?

The reason it's getting bought up in this thread is because it's a bit bloody cheeky for Posh fans to complain about only getting 3000 tickets when their average home attendance is less than 7000 and they took about 300 for a recent match. Fair enough if people pick and choose, but don't complain when you get an allocation that's nearly half your home gate just because a lot of people have picked the same match.
