Craig Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Ok, i'm going to say how i feel about tonight... In the last year, we've played at Highbury and Old Trafford, had glamour cup ties at Charlton and Blackburn, but none of those games were anywhere near as important to us as tonight. Some of you might disagree, but that's my opinion, tonight's the night we must turn it on - as fans, and as a team. I don't care where you sit, i don't care who you sit next to, infront of, or behind... We must support them more than we ever have at the Walkers tonight. De Vries is shockingly bad, Joey misplaces passes for fun, Walker flaps more than a stranded seagull... but let's forget that until 9.45ish, please? I don't want boo'ing if they play, how the hell is that going to help? Think of when you work or go to school... if someone is constantly moaning at you, it's harder to work isn't it? That applies to footballers too, it's just another job for the majority of them. There won't be many there tonight i shouldn't think, but let's cheer our side to a scrappy 1-0 win, or a 5-0 romp, who cares, we just need to win! Come on Leicester!!
Shum Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Pretty well put to be fair Craigy Waigy! You need to post this on the OS mate.
Benji Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 well said a truely massive game tonight a win almost certainly keep us up (even though i think we're already fine) and stops cardiff getting at least 3 points from their remaining 3 sing loud, sing proud! :fox:
Ric Flair Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 not going, can't be arsed. They don't deserve me.
Fox in a Box Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 not going, can't be arsed. They don't deserve me. 95319 LOYAL FAN or dustbin man? :!:

They don't deserve me. 95319 LOYAL FAN or dustbin man? :!: 95321 Fed up with them, it's not good for my health. I've had a season ticket for 14 years and never miss a game on purpose but tonight I am doing. Call me all the names you want, but they don't deserve us fans after the shit they've churned out this season. I need a few weeks/months off to get my passion back, I suggest the players try and find their passion too.

It could happen - really.

SilverFox Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 As I posted on the other channel; I apologise for getting all anal about tonight, but this game is beyond massive!!!! There are people saying we are already safe and too good to go down...sorry, we are now 3 points from relegation!!!! Anyone who thinks we are too good to go down obviously didn't have a ticket on Saturday. We are very very poor...the worst we have been in my living memory...and so when I see comments like, 'I am reasonably certain' the players will respond, it makes my blood boil! If they don't want to play they should be left out of the team! Levein is the right man for the job, make no mistake about my views on that, but there should be no excuses tonight. No one should be allowed to turn around tomorrow and say, 'sorry, we just didn't perform on the night'! The time for pathetic excuses is over and anything less than 100% commitment will not be enough. Also it would be beyond dangerous to write off Cardiff tonight. They were the better team at their place, and we are notorious for being bad at ours...please please please, if you are going tonight be loud, and be supportive. We need to give these boys a lift! This is a massive game for this club MASSIVE! Our future could hinge on this result! If there are players out there who are in any doubt about what this club means to us then lets show them! Loud and proud please gentlemen and ladies!

Still regret that decision now. You never know what might happen in football.
C-man Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 I agree with all of you, even Hoof. He's right in saying that the players have to get their passion back before he does. If they are sitting there on 5 grand a week doing jack shit but run around a pitch lazily for 90 minutes they should frig off and let someone else play. BUT, this game is MASSIVE. We have to get behind the team and cheer them on like we did againt Wolves for 10 minutes. But we have to do that for the whole game, regardless of the score, and most importantly, when they need it most in the last 10 minutes!!! C'mon Leicester

davieG Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Go on then, **** it i'll go and cheer the boys on tonight. Got nowt better to do, but they best impress otherwise i'll be angry.BLUE ARMY!!!!!!!!! 95365 The thing is Hoof you have to go and support them tonight of all nights, if we go down it won't affect them unduly it will be us, the fans who will suffer the consequences, we are the only permanents in what passes as professional football these day. We are in essence the only ones who REALLY care, for all the others involved it's just a career thing, money not from the heart. Blue Army
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 I would without a doubt be there tonight if I didn't live a good four hours drive away Tonight is definatly a night to get behind the boys, it could prove to make a difference if we go in level or behind at half time (which knowing the boys could be possible). I'll definatly be listening though to see if we can cement our place in the Championship. Come on Foxes!
