Nationwider Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Dabizas will presumably miss Saturday's game, but does a second red mean more matches out? McCarthy has picked up 5 bookings now (I think - but stand to be corrected). I know it's the end of the season and the rules change for latter games, but as he's picked them up really quickly, does he get a ban too? Any ideas?

MON Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Good that Dabizaz is out. Kenton and Stearman in defence, Maybury right back, Stewart left back?

Knighton Matt Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 from bbc sport... Booked: Dabizas, Maybury, McCarthy, Stearman.
shen Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 I didn't hear it on the commentary either, but Sky Sports noted he had been booked
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Dabizas will presumably miss Saturday's game, but does a second red mean more matches out?Any ideas? 95632 OS says 2 games so Sunderland and Derby.
Nationwider Posted 19 April 2005 Author Posted 19 April 2005 OS says 2 games so Sunderland and Derby. 95661 Thanks FOTM Don't look at the OS for too long though...Paul Mace emits brainwashing mindwaves through it. I think Paddy Mac might be ok - shouldn't be though, but, hey we need all the breaks we can get.
Louise Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 McCarthy won't miss a game through suspention because as from March they stop suspending for 5 yellows, that's why Connolly could play when he got his 5th.

Scow Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 That was certainly not a sending off. Dabizas won the ball clearly. I hope they review that yellow card, but I doubt it...

I hope they review that yellow card, but I doubt it... 95679 It was a perfectly timed, one footed tackle from the side that took the ball first. Granted the player was brought down by the following leg but it wasn't a malicious foul, no way was it worthy of a second yellow card. I really hope City appeal against it.
Cobbo Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 Even if it cannot be resinded, it would be nice if the ref could realise his mistake and apologise for it...not that it makes a difference now
Chimp Posted 19 April 2005 Posted 19 April 2005 The real problem is CL will probably have to put Dublin back in defence for those two games, which leaves us with little options up front.

Not enough of this goes on. I think ref's should carry a few of these:
