Very good film and highly recommended. I'm not a fan of Jim Carrey normally but I thought he played the role really well and it's well worth checking out if you have some time over x-mas.

Oh and if you've read the book by Danny Wallace then clear it from your mind - the films nothing like it at all and I don't think the two stories were even remotely similar. (Spot the cameo appearance from Danny Wallace if you do go )

Yeah I went expecting it to not live up to the book but it's still a pretty decent film. No guru on the bus though <_<

I'm actually pretty glad it's not like the book. It would've annoyed me because it probably would've been a crap version of it. I don't mind if they take the concept and balls the film up.

I love the book so much, it's my holy grail when i've become a bit of a coont and need to sort myself out. Worried about seeing the film and spoiling the regard I have ferrit.

I shan't be watching the films because I suffer from filmophobia. It's a rare condition.
