turkish14 Posted 31 December 2008 Posted 31 December 2008 I agree that there dished out to easily, but agree that Chris Hoy deserves one, 3 golds plus the 1 in Athens and the knock on effect it will hopefully have going forward to London 2012 (and he's not a prima-t**t)defo justified imo
Ultra Posted 31 December 2008 Posted 31 December 2008 The whole honours system is a farce. Most honours are decided on the basis of "connections" rather than genuine achievement. Can't begrudge the Olympians or Paralympians their gongs though - they deserve them.
Tommeh Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Shocked Martin Taylor didn't get one for services to tackling.

Fox You Forest Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 Are you sure??????? Looks like his own hair to me.Talking about toupees, Bruce Forsyth with over 50 years in the entertainment business and who has raised millions for charity and now is 80 years old misses out. There was something on the news a few weeks back that he was in line to get one this year but there going to give him one next year instead.
