Forgetting your season ticket

On Tuesday 11th November LCFC played host to Yeovil Town. I attended the game as usual, however I had forgotten my season ticket and as I was going straight from work to the pub and then onto the game I decided to purchase a match ticket for my usual seat. I was informed that if I were to bring my season ticket with the voucher intact I would be able to get a refund for the match ticket I purchased. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!!! :@

I went to the ticket office pre match today to get my ticket for todays game and to get a refund for the yeovil ticket and was disappointed to be told that you have to claim this refund within two weeks of the fixture being played!! :frusty:

Who should I address a letter to? Peter Jones?

Has anyone had a problem like this before?

No doubt they would probably send me a voucher for £10 off in the megastore. Which would piss me off even more as I never buy anything from there.

If i leave my season ticket at home for A league or AFL, it's just tough luck. I reckon it's pretty good you have a chance at getting ya coin back

Agreed i think it's great that they actually give you a way of getting ur money back, at the end of the day it was your fault you forgot your ticket not the clubs.

i should imagine quite a few people do this i have once & had to purchasae the ticket for my seat i did get full refund but i did do it within the 2 weeks you will get your money back just keep pestering them about it

I take it the 2 weeks I clearly stated on the ST :unsure: Probably need a microscope to read it though!

On a side note if anyone has a ticket not being used for the Orient game I will pay for it. :thumbup:

Why did it take you so long to ask for a refund, been a number of home games since then to sort it out?

I forgot my season ticket when we were at home against Northampton Town on October 25th. >_<

And as we live an hour away, we couldn't just go back home and then back again....

I was dissapointed when they said I had to pay now and then re-claim it as well. But I got the refund at the next home game, which was Bristol Rovers I think. I realise that it was my fault but as you have paid for the season ticket, they should just give you a ticket for free or something.

I got my money back though :thumbup:

I didn't know it was within 2 weeks mate. sorry about that.

Chris Tinbergen is the ticket sales manager, and he maybe able to help you out.
