Cech's horrendous miskick in the opening seconds set the tone for an utterly wretched afternoon for the rent boys - and for the scousers watching on TV. United are now starting to move through the gears, and come Saturday could well displace Liverpool from the top spot. On today's evidence, they may well take some shifting.

Vidic pisses all over John Terry in my opinion, great defender. I would pick him any day. Overall though It wasn't worthy of the "Super Sunday" title Sky gave it, I wasn't excited at all. Listen me ode , i repect your opinions and many others , i watch La liga its entertaining football , my only gripe was that id just read the Best player debate that turned in to "i love La Liga" fest , then a topic on the top match in the premiership then gets the la liga bit thrown in !! I actually agree with Shingler. He ran himself into the ground, and I thought he caused all sorts of problems. To say he was the worst Utd player by far is ludicrous Loft. C-Man - Yea he ran his little legs off but he was a tad wasteful today. Only fault and not many other United lads wasted the ball. My MOTM went to Jonny Evans today, he made Drogba and especially Anelka in the second half look average at best. Brilliant performance and has stepped in for Ferdinand perfectly. Top notch United today.
