Libertine Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Or Sean Waltman ? He made a sex tape with Chyna and thats no lie. Oh, I know he did..... *Shudders* Shawn Michaels, purely for the entrance music.I'M JUST A SEXY BOY (SEXY BOOOOOOOY)
Edmund Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Thats what alot of people thought but WCW had Ted Turner and his millions bankrolling bischoff. You think about it bischoff got : Hogan - Macho Man - Ultimate Warrior - Hall - Nash - Luger - Bret Hart - Piper and that list proves he overspent vince by bringing in stars Vince made. Vince couldn't compete with WCW on money but he made new stars like Austin - Rock - HHH - Gave a Taker a bigger role as a heel. Time Warner killed WCW though, but thats a huge story worth looking into if your intresting in that side of wrestling. Yeah they did get the stars but as a kid there was something about it which just made it seem not as good. Im sure stone cold was wrestling for wcw when I was watching wwf. I take it wcw isin't going anymore then?

I take it wcw isin't going anymore then? He probally was, he wrestled as stunning steve austin in wcw but got fired because he had enough of never getting a top spot because the top spots where always taken by the same old has beens like Flair and Hogan. He went to ECW where he ripped on wcw and joined wwf shortly after. His first gimmick was the Ringmaster and had Million dollar man has his manager and he was going nowhere. He lost a match to Savio Vega and ditch him and then turned into the Stone Cold and the rest is history. Also WCW went out of buissness in 2001 and was brought out by WWF. Russo was in charge of WCW in the latter stages and it was worst then the new ecw.
Darkzzz_ Posted 27 January 2009 Author Posted 27 January 2009 I have created a monster here. Wrestling freaks.
Ashley Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 I do remember performind many a Swanton Bomb. Wrestling has seriously gone down hill now days, I used to love playing the Wrestling games on the PS2.
Tilley Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Orton is one of the best young wrestlers around nowadays. Orton, Rhodes & Di Biase Soon to be joined by DH Smith. What a group.
Libertine Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Orton, Rhodes & Di Biase Soon to be joined by DH Smith. What a group. Is Orton a face atm?
ASH17LCFC Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Is Orton a face atm? Nah, he booted Vince in the head the other week and won the Rumble on sunday. He's the best Heel the WWE have got atm. The Legacy are turning into a great faction like the factions of the 90's.

Thought they might have brought him back as a face for a bit before turning him back into his classic persona like. Always entertaining regardless.

Orton been banging on the door for ages now for his time and i beleive this year will prove to be Ortons. He grew up alot what will help him and i think he can now handle being the main man of the WWE. Edge is also i think one of the best Heels in the buissness, Matt Hardy turned on Jeff aswell what gonna be weird now Christain returning.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Me and my cousin were Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in tag-teams against my other cousins. When I was fighting on my own I was usually The Rock I could hit a mean Rock Bottom. Nowadays I can only be Orton - ask Tevez about the R.K.O I hit on one of my mates, finished him off. Ow and there was some talk about the greatest match ever - got to be The Rock HHH Iron-Man match when Taker returned. Gripping. Rock Hogan, first TLC, Armagedon 6 man Hell in a Cell. All class.
Libertine Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 I've always seen Shane O'Mac as a vastly underrated performer too. Always great when he steps in the ring.

Bret Hart HBK Iron Man was class, Owen vs Bret WM 94, Beniot Malenko 2 out of 3 falls ( amazing)
Edmund Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 I know we all use to be a wannabe of the pro's but did no one else use to have there own made up names. Me and my mate did. As I remember I was snake eyes . Can't rememebr my mates wrestling name. Use to even weigh myself properly in pounds so when we did the announcement it would be realistic. "From Norwich England, weighning in at x amount of pounds, "Snakeyes"!! Those were the days.
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 It's unfortunate that the WWE peaked in the late 90s/early 00s. It's lost something nowadays or maybe I've just grown tired of it. But consider these... Stone Cold, The Rock, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and going further back, Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, Hogan, Randy Savage. They all had that 'something extra'. Today, none of the current roster does, apart from Taker, HHH, Orton. It's lost its appeal for me. And what happened to decent tag team bouts?

I did sneak a glimpse recently and he was terrible. All about when it was him and the Paul Bearer.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Wrestling got worse after the WWF v WCW/ECW. Went downhill after that. Its became alot more predictable now and the same wrestlers are in the same boring matches now. WWF used to be unpredictable like Taker being put through the ring, Austin joining WCW, The Rock returning, HBK leaving DX, WWF v WCW and HHH and Steph McMahon bonking. It was brilliant. Here is a little trivia question who was the first ever draft pick to Raw or Smackdown?
